Top Ten | November

Welcome back to a new week…and the start of December! With Thanksgiving falling so early this year, it feels like Christmas is just around the corner…but actually we still have several weeks. #whew! I like having the extra time to soak in the holiday season, don’t you?

We’ve been busy elves decorating the house and creating gift guide ideas, and I’m excited to bring all that and more in the coming weeks.

Today we’re taking a look back at November, and the top posts of the month. And wowza was it a busy month!! So many posts! It’s nice to take a moment each month and look back at the projects and content I created, and take note of what you liked best. In case you took an internet hiatus, here’s a peek of what you might have missed on Hi Sugarplum last month…

We all want to feed our families good healthy food, but don’t want to break the bank doing it! Brandless is an amazing online pantry source with delicious, non-GMO, mostly organic food…and nothing is over $3! #bamwhat We’ve been using them for a year, and have quite the list of faves…sharing our top 10 in this post. (And find our organized pantry here.)

Gibson x Glam launched at Nordstrom, and I was thrilled to have a ‘Cassie’ top among the gorgeous Collection of lace, velvet and sequin pieces! But even better was collaborating with such an amazing brand and group of inspiring women.

Have you started holiday baking yet? We’ve made a few batches of Christmas Crack already, a decision I’m regretting since I’m powerless against it! I also found the recipe for Starbucks Pumpkin Loaf, and this yummy treat has become a new fave.

Tis the season for family gatherings…and what do you wear when you want to be comfy, but still cute? I put together two super-affordable looks to inspire your cozy style.

I’m working on a traditional table for Christmas this week, but keeping a few of the rustic and glam touches from our Thanksgiving Table.

The family got decked-out in our holiday plaid for some festive styles…and all on sale!

My first gift guide of the season…and first video gift guide ever…included a little something for virtually everyone on your list!

How to wear your cozy mock neck sweaters for Work and Weekend! (Mr. SP makes an appearance in a cozy sweater, too!)

And we kept the theme going with this darling wide-striped turtleneck for Work and Weekend! Plus some new pieces from Kendra Scott’s Winter collection.

Don’t let these sweet faces fool you, they are active pups! Thank goodness for the new subscription service that delivers durable toys and all-natural treats to my door every month!

Holidays are a busier time, no matter how much you plan ahead. I shared my Five Tips for Staying Sane and Present. (Plus some really cute and warm outdoor wear.)

Darling sweaters are the base of my Winter wardrobe, so I’m thrilled to find a new source that offers the cutest styles, at amazing prices. And bonus, you’re not likely to see them on everyone else! (Plus a gift guide of fun & quirky ideas.)

Looking forward to seeing your ideas for decor do,the season. Do you ever put some of the everyday decor away for the holidays? How do you avoid a cluttered look.

Thanks Deborah! I do pack some things away and swap out decor…instead of just adding more. Things like throw pillows, and table top decor usually get put away to make room for Christmas.

Hi, Cassie! I’m new to your blog and I love it! You are so fun and I love your style. I plan to make the Christmas Crack! I read that post and laughed and laughed…The description of different shopping styles is perfect, too! I’m the assess at the doorway in one minute to decide whether it’s worth going in type. 🙂 I’ve been reading through your cruise posts. My husband and I are celebrating 25 years in May! We’re trying to decide where to go, what special trip to take. We never go on vacation (womp womp)… A cruise sounds great, tho. What has been your favorite?

Happy anniversary, Debbie!! Thanks so much for your kind words! If I had to choose a single cruise, I’d go with Mediterranean!!! All the stops are amazing and the weather so nice!

Thank you! I’ll check out the Mediterranean cruise. Btw…Thx for helping me find the best black jeans ever! I had ordered some really expensive ones that were promptly returned because the fit was awful. I’ve also ordered the crepe shirtdress (in a second color now), the pink Old Navy vest, a few sweaters, and will be ordering the Miller sandals (eventually)… :0) Thanks for all the work you put into your photos, posts and Insta Stories.

Hi Cassie! My daughter and I made the “Christmas Crack” when she got home from school this afternoon. And, oh my goodness, is it addictive! I told her we have to give some of it away so my fun clothes that I’ve bought from reading your blog will still fit come January! 🙂 I’ve packed up some in a care package for my son in college and asked her to give some away to her friends at school. (They leave little surprises in one another’s lockers…sweet girls!) Anyways, thanks so much for the new favorite Christmas treat! I always enjoy reading your blog first thing in the morning.
