Welcome back to a new week…and the start of December! With Thanksgiving falling so early this year, it feels like Christmas is just around the corner…but actually we still have several weeks. #whew! I like having the extra time to soak in the holiday season, don’t you?
We’ve been busy elves decorating the house and creating gift guide ideas, and I’m excited to bring all that and more in the coming weeks.
Today we’re taking a look back at November, and the top posts of the month. And wowza was it a busy month!! So many posts! It’s nice to take a moment each month and look back at the projects and content I created, and take note of what you liked best. In case you took an internet hiatus, here’s a peek of what you might have missed on Hi Sugarplum last month…

Have you started holiday baking yet? We’ve made a few batches of Christmas Crack already, a decision I’m regretting since I’m powerless against it! I also found the recipe for Starbucks Pumpkin Loaf, and this yummy treat has become a new fave.

here are some good places to start:
Looking forward to seeing your ideas for decor do,the season. Do you ever put some of the everyday decor away for the holidays? How do you avoid a cluttered look.
Thanks Deborah! I do pack some things away and swap out decor…instead of just adding more. Things like throw pillows, and table top decor usually get put away to make room for Christmas.
Hi, Cassie! I’m new to your blog and I love it! You are so fun and I love your style. I plan to make the Christmas Crack! I read that post and laughed and laughed…The description of different shopping styles is perfect, too! I’m the assess at the doorway in one minute to decide whether it’s worth going in type. 🙂 I’ve been reading through your cruise posts. My husband and I are celebrating 25 years in May! We’re trying to decide where to go, what special trip to take. We never go on vacation (womp womp)… A cruise sounds great, tho. What has been your favorite?
Happy anniversary, Debbie!! Thanks so much for your kind words! If I had to choose a single cruise, I’d go with Mediterranean!!! All the stops are amazing and the weather so nice!
Thank you! I’ll check out the Mediterranean cruise. Btw…Thx for helping me find the best black jeans ever! I had ordered some really expensive ones that were promptly returned because the fit was awful. I’ve also ordered the crepe shirtdress (in a second color now), the pink Old Navy vest, a few sweaters, and will be ordering the Miller sandals (eventually)… :0) Thanks for all the work you put into your photos, posts and Insta Stories.
Hi Cassie! My daughter and I made the “Christmas Crack” when she got home from school this afternoon. And, oh my goodness, is it addictive! I told her we have to give some of it away so my fun clothes that I’ve bought from reading your blog will still fit come January! 🙂 I’ve packed up some in a care package for my son in college and asked her to give some away to her friends at school. (They leave little surprises in one another’s lockers…sweet girls!) Anyways, thanks so much for the new favorite Christmas treat! I always enjoy reading your blog first thing in the morning.
