Sweet & Sassy | Pink & Red Edit

Happy Tuesday from Cabo, lovebugs! I arrived yesterday with the Avara team to shoot and launch their new Resort Collection! I’ll be sharing my fave styles throughout the week (follow the fun HERE), but they’ve given us Early Access to shop HERE!I I’ll be sure to recap everything later this week on the blog, as well.

Dallas is expected to dip to the single digits, so I’m not mad about getting out of town again so quickly! Especially since they’ve already warned us the power grid will be strained. Awesome.

The last time that happened, we lost power for three days, had multiple pipes burst, and ultimately had to move out of our house for the summer while the floors were replaced. I mean, I love a good project, but that wasn’t too fun! Fingers crossed everything holds up this time.

Today we’re talking about the season of love! Valentine’s Day is around the corner, and pink and red is forever a fave color combo, no matter the time of year. Today I’ve rounded up some of fave styles for the season (and beyond!), plus some sweet gift ideas.

It’s hard to believe this darling top is an Amazon find! Made of a quality eyelet cotton, the body is lined and the buttons are operational. I love the loose, full sleeves, and button front. I already owned the pink, but had to grab the red for football weekends in Oklahoma!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a size Small blouse, but it’s a generous fit, no need to size up.

I shared this set in another color months ago, but didn’t love it… until I picked my friend Suzie up at the airport and she was wearing it in this pink! And then I instantly ordered it and have worn it countless time since! Yes, I feel a bit like the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man, but it’s so crazy comfy, and dang it, it’s cute!!! I seriously get so many compliments every time I wear it!

This lady jacket is chock-full of style!! Made of a super soft, stretchy boucle, it has the cutest pearl buttons and gold thread detail. Dress it up with trousers (these wide legs from Amazon are a long-time fave), or keep it more casual with jeans.

One of our favorite sweaters from spring is now available with the cutest square neckline! I love the puffed shoulders and flattering elbow-length sleeve… plus, it’s super soft and stretchy.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a size Small, but would prefer a size down.

Can you believe this fleece pullover is an Amazon find?! It looks just like Free People, but for a fraction of the price. I love the red, but there are several color options and fun combos. It’s not overly hot, and has zipper pockets and details. Tip: mine arrived vacuum-sealed, but fluffed up great in the dryer.

I’m like a broken record with the pullover, I know! But it really is that good, and really is what I wear most of my days!! I have it in a range of colors, and pair it with workout leggings (these are my faves), jeans, pajama bottoms, and shorts!

Leggings season is upon us, which means I’m always on the hunt for tunic-length sweaters, and this one is a long-time fave! I love the oversized turtleneck and longer length, but the fitted sleeves keep it from being too overwhelming. It comes in a ton of colors, including a fun stripe, if pink isn’t your thing.
