Happy Friday from sunny Cabo, friends! I came this week with the incredible Avara team to launch their darling new Resort Collection (see it HERE). I had the best time sharing the new styles, and spending time with new and old friends.
I was due to come home yesterday, but a last-minute dash of spontaneity had me changing my ticket and flying my friend Suzie out for the weekend! She lives in Los Angeles, and while she’s so fortunate to still have her home, it’s been a really stressful couple of weeks of worry and evacuating…and a few days of peace and clean air were in need!
We moved to a place that’s been on my list for ages, and I can’t wait to check it all out! I’ll be sure to share it on my Instagram/Facebook story HERE.

The hardest part is always choosing the styles we want to wear! I loved my picks, plus grabbed a few more after seeing them on my friends! (Especially this skirt… it’s incredible!)

We stayed at the ultra-modern Nobu Cabo, which is a great spot for a girl’s weekend! It’s beautiful and peaceful, but also had fun, party vibes. It’s a fairly large property (I spent much of the time lost, ha!), with multiple pools, great service, and a large (non-swimmable) beach. It’s decorated in a very minimal, Japanese style.
Sugarplum Travel Tip: Nobu is about an hour from the SJU airport, so definitely a drive from a lot of the action.
I love a good set, and this cotton combo was my fave. So darling worn together, but easily styled as separates. See HERE how I’ll be mixing these styles.

This is the softest flowy top for pairing with jeans and shorts, and I love the colors and fun trim detail. The shorts are an incredible find, too… the fit is so good with no gapping in the back, good length, and no show-thru.
Fit Tip: The top is oversized, I’m in a size XS. The shorts run large though, I’m in a size 0. And I almost always size up in white denim!

I’ve already worn this dress twice… it looks so much like Anthro, don’t you think? It’s a lightweight cotton, fully-lined, and with pockets. The print is so fun with subtle seashells.

If I had to choose a favorite dress of the launch, it would be this one. I love the print, the ruching at the top, and the thick, linen-style fabric. But funny enough, it didn’t require steaming at all!
Fit Tip: I’m wearing a size XS, but I’d size up one if you’re busty.

We stayed close to the hotel for our trip, but did venture out on a boat trip to the famous Los Arcos de Cabo. This maxi was perfect for keeping me a little warmer… it’s smocked on top with adjustable straps, and a long, flowy skirt.

I have an actual collection of jean jackets, but this is the one I reach for most. I love the wash and feminine shoulder detail… I’m thrilled to see it restocked!

One morning we had the honor of meeting the owner of Corazon Playero, and customizing hats of our own! It was so inspiring to hear her story and see some of the artisans at work.

I couldn’t choose just one, so I’m coming home with both a pink and a neutral hat.
This is one of those dresses that’s so easy to wear you’ll find yourself reaching for it on repeat. Wear it with sandals or wedges, even with sneakers or over a swimsuit! It’s so soft and flowy, with a cute graphic print.

I wore this darling green and white printed dress on the last night, and I couldn’t have loved it more! It’s a crisp cotton poplin, with a forgiving a-line shape and cute little collar. It even has pockets!
