Cheers to Black Friday, friends! Or rather, Black Friday Eve! The overwhelming consensus was to share this post early, so I hope your bellies are full of pie, and your hearts full of love after a day spent with family. We had a fun, busy day, and now I’m ready for a little quiet time…and of course, tackling my gift list!
There are so many amazing sales, it’s hard to know where to start. But stay calm and take deep breaths, you don’t want your clicking-finger to lock up on you….I’ll be your tour guide. We took some family pics last week, and I wore this perfect holiday combo. The sweater is a soft mid-weight, and skirt a crisp cotton. The sash can be tied in the front or back. The classic tartan plaid pairs beautifully with lots of colors, too. Little Miss wore this girl’s version and looked adorable!
Fit Tip: The sweater is true to size, I’m in XS, but size down in the skirt if you have a small waist. I’m wearing 00.

Plaid popover of my Fall dreams! The classic black watch plaid (this always reminds me of the old Ralph Lauren print!), with sweet pleats across the chest, and soft cotton. It is thinner than I would expect for this time of year, but not so sheer you need a cami.
Fit Tip: I sized up to a 2 for more room across the shoulders.

I can’t get enough of the tartan plaids this season! This blouse is drapey and light, with a tie in the back. Of course I love the flattering halter neck style…I’d wear it with jeans, pencil skirt, trousers, or under a blazer. Dress it up for a holiday party, or down for the office. Also, I can’t stop with these jeans! I wore them four days in a row and they help their shape perfectly. I like the ankle length for booties and heels, too.

The perfect solution when you need a jacket, but don’t want to cover your outfit completely with a big Winter coat. This faux-fur sherpa bomber is cute and warm, and adds a little extra chic to your outfit, too.
