Happy Wednesday, friends! How’s your week going so far? We’ve had non-stop sunshine, and my spring fever has hit an all-time high! What is it about glorious weather that makes me want to stop everything and sit outside and read?! You too?

Sloan’s Birthday & Family Weekend //

We blinked and our babygirl turned 19… plus she’s nearing the end of her freshman year! How does time move so fast? It was terribly hard letting her go, but we’re all learning to thrive in this new season. Soon she’ll be home again, and that will come with a new set of challenges, am I right?!

We celebrated her birthday last month with a fun dinner out with her friends… followed by another visit last week for Family Weekend! A double-dose of Sloan, and we were a very happy mom and dad!

What I Wore on Family Weekend //

Designer Bags For Less //

I’ve been carrying this LV Pochette for almost five years now, and I’m asked about it every single time. It’s obviously a splurge, but my cost-per-wear is basically pennies at this point, and I couldn’t love it more.

I only own a few designer bags, and most have come from my favorite reseller, Keeks. They have an enormous inventory that’s constantly changing, and authenticity is absolutely guaranteed. I love finding older styles that feel more unique and vintage, and honestly prefer my designer bags to feel a little ‘loved.’ Plus, it’s nice knowing you’re giving a special bag a new life.

Book Club //

In an effort to limit my screen time, particularly at night, I’ve been reading more and more lately… and it truly is such a treat!! I’m currently reading Code Name Hélène by Ariel Lawhon, and can not put it down. It’s a perfect mix of WW2 historical fiction and beautiful love story. Ariel Lawhon has such a way with words, I find myself saving passages in my notes. Plus, her female leads are so strong and inspiring.

I recently finished The Wedding People by Alison Espach, and didn’t love it… maybe because it’s nothing like I assumed. Once I let go of the lighthearted premise I thought the book was, I was able to enjoy it more. I also read Every Summer After by Carley Fortune, and will definitely be picking up another by her!
