Happy New Year, darling friends!!! I hope your evening was fun (and safe!), and you woke with joy and optimism for the new year! I love a fresh start, and that’s what January 1 always feels like to me. I’ve been thinking on the coming year, and the goals I have both personally and professionally. Would you want to chat about it here on the blog?
Today we’re resuming the look back at 2019, with my favorite style posts of the year. Fashion has been a big part of this blog from the very beginning… in fact, I had an Outfit Inspiration post in my first week of blogging… but I beg you not to go back and look at it! Let’s just say I’ve learned a little in the last almost-11 years! (Can you believe I’ve been blogging that long!? #OG)
I prefer my fashion posts to be helpful, as well as inspirational, so most times I’m giving you multiple ways to style and wear new items. Along with Faves Under $50 posts, these were some of your favorites in the Style category…
My Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Collections topped the list, and I couldn’t be happier or more grateful! Be sure to come back Monday for a brand new announcement!!
I always love having my family share the blog with me, and had quite a few fun shoots with them this year.
A few more of your favorite style posts throughout the year…
One of my favorite series every year… Summer of Style is a weekly, affordable outfit that’s easy to recreate. Find them all HERE.
I rounded up my daily #ootds in Sugarplum Style posts…
This darling girl shared a two-part series on Back to School styles for teen girls!
And both my babes made their annual appearance in more Back to School styles!
I added Target Hauls to the mix, and they quickly became favorites!
I also discovered Marks & Spencer, and we all loved their affordable, closet staple styles!
I even got Little Miss on the action, and she helped me with an American Eagle haul!
Dressing Room Diaries posts have been favorites around here for awhile… especially now that Mama Sugarplum is involved!
But the overwhelming reader favorite style posts remain the Amazon Fashion Finds! In fact, the posts are at the top for the entire year!
The goal isn’t to have more clothes, but to create more options with the items you do have! And when you do shop, to thoughtfully add new items that stretch your wardrobe even further! Do you enjoy the various style series? Which are your favorites? Anything you’d like to see more of in 2020?
