Hey friends! Thanks for the love on our backyard patio renovation! I can’t believe after almost five years in this home, it’s finally coming together how we’d hoped. If only someone would come tackle the closets and junk drawers next! Seriously, how do we accumulate so much junk so quickly!? Would you believe I still have unpacked boxes stashed!? Clearly it’s time to just let them go!
There were quite a few questions on the post, so be sure to check the comment section for more patio details!
But today let’s talk fashion…teen fashion to be exact! Y’all have been loving the posts with my kid’s style picks, and the requests for more keep rolling in! Of course Little Miss wholeheartedly agreed to shop and share, and you’ll be thrilled to know all these darling finds are from Walmart, so they’re super affordable!
I set her free online, and she created three fun looks, perfect for school and weekends.
LOOK 1
How cute is this denim skirt, and does it come in my size?! It has the hidden adjustable waistband, giving her petite frame a perfect fit. The tagless-tee is super soft jersey, and comes in a 2-pack for just $5!
Sidenote: Most every style featured comes in sizes 6-18, with 6x and Plus options, too! And many come with free 2-day shipping with purchase over $35.

The tricky part about starting school in August is the heat! It’s still super-hot, but most of her shorts don’t meet the school’s dress code standard. She was thrilled to find these lightweight pants! They’re silky-soft with a comfortable pull-on elastic paperbag waist. She pairs them with a tee now, and this cute long sleeve later. They’re super cute with sneakers and sandals.

LOOK 3
This jumpsuit has been her go-to for parties and such all Summer, and she just pulls it up on her shoulders for school. It’s a soft chambray with comfortable elastic waist. And excuse me, but when did we start sharing sandals?! She’s wearing my favorite $8 pair!
And to make things easier, here are the additional three looks she created last month!

Polo-style Shirt (comes in a 2-pack) | Plaid Pleated Skirt | Similar Sneakers | Backpacks
Plaid Shirt (comes in four colors) | Denim Jeggings (adjustable waist) | Similar Sneakers
My gosh this girl makes my heart sing!! She’s such a joy and light, and as much as I miss my son, I’m excited for the next five years with her! But let’s not talk about life after that just yet! Oh yeah, if you have a teen girl you know bras are serious business, and finding a good one that’s actually comfortable isn’t easy!! She absolutely loves this this one, and it washes well, too.

Oh my goodness! Could your daughter be any cuter!!! Such cute outfits but it’s her bubbly personality that shines through!
Wow! Love all these looks on little Miss in clothing that is not only affordable but looks so good on her!
These choices are so lovely. This is so helpful as I look for clothing gifts for my three granddaughters.
Little Miss is the definition for super cute! xo
Darling! Love her hair down and curly. Face it, she’s pretty cute anyway she does her hair.
Hi Cassie-
I love your blog sooo mcuh!
Would you please consider doing a post on outfits for teachers?
Nice casual and comfortable.
Thanks for considering:)
Lisa
Thanks so much, Lisa!! I try to include outfits in every Amazon haul and Dressing Room post that are great for everyone, and try to call out if it’s especially a good choice for teachers! But honestly, I try to keep all my outfits modest and affordable, so hopefully much of my inspiration works for the classroom! xoxo
Thanks so much – I bought the jumpsuit from your recommendation awhile ago and my 11 year old wore it all summer long. She loves it. Will have to get the skirt now too. We also bought the paper bag pants in brown! All winners!! Thanks for your recommendations, they were clear winners for my picky pre-teen.
I’m so thrilled to hear that!!!
Grrrreat modeling and styling!
She is adorable! Very cute outfits!
Adorable Cassie! I just wanted to say, sometimes you can find amazing designer kids clothing in the same price range. May be not the current season but who really cares. My personal favorite is omamimini.com Just check it out. Thanks.
Thanks for the tip!! I’ll check them out! We found her some amazing high-end jeans during the Anniversary Sale that were $20!!
Has anybody ever said she looks like you? All I see is her daddy!
Ha, we hear that a lot…but they have similar coloring. Mama SP insists she looks just like me at that age…but with dark hair! 🙂
You are just my favorite! I ride into work on the train heading toward downtown Chicago. I am always hoping that there is a post from you!!
Your family is darling. Each and every one of you. I am so thankful for you!! You inspire me!! I am sorry I don’t take the time more often to drop you a note.
Big hug on the changes your family is facing this year with your son off to college. It is a blessing but still hard on you.
I would love an updated beauty post on products you are using for hair and makeup. Thank you for the consideration.
She looks very pretty! Will she want to be a model in the future?
Thank you! And who knows?! xo, Cassie
