It’s Here! Shop the Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Holiday Collection!

Your holiday is about to SHINE and SPARKLE!!! Our Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Holiday Collection is now live, exclusively online at Nordstrom, and you can find the entire collection HERE! I’m humbled beyond belief by this opportunity, and positively bursting with excitement to share this festive Collection with you!

I know you’re all anxious to see the pieces, so I’ll get right to it! The Holiday Collection consists of 9 different styles, each with several colors and patterns, for a total of 22 versatile pieces. And as always, we were dedicated to color consistency throughout the entire Collection, making it effortless to mix-and-match countless combinations for all your holiday plans. Whether you choose separates or sets, every combo works, for everything from family photos to office parties to rockin’ New Year’s Eve!

It’s all feminine, flattering, chic…and of course, affordable! My hope is that you feel beautiful and confident when wearing them. And remember, the Collection is size-inclusive ranging from XXS Petite to 3X. (Shop regular and petite HERE, and plus HERE.) I’m so flattered to have both Mama Sugarplum and my friend Nicole of Curves to Contour joining me in presenting the Collection!

The Holiday Collection was inspired by the joy, romance and sparkle of the holiday season, so the pieces are all named in the most romantic French words. Who knows, maybe you’ll be inspired to ring in the new year in the city of love! Darling friends, I give you the Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Holiday Collection!!!

Sizing Sidenote: We listened carefully to your feedback from our previous Collections, and am excited to share every piece is completely bra-friendly! We also adjusted lengths to accommodate a range of heights, so tall girls can get in on the action! Pay close attention to my Fit Tip for each item!

I’m 5’4″ 120 pounds, and wear a 0/XS and 26 jeans. Mama Sugarplum is 5’2″ with an hourglass shape, and wears 2/Small. Nicole is 5’10” and wears a 3X.

The Noel Bow Back Top

You know I love feminine details, and it doesn’t get any better than a gathered ruffle collar! The Noel Bow Back Top has a fun ruffle neck trim that’s fully adjustable thanks to the functioning drawstring sash. Wear it tall and tight, or more relaxed, but always with the gorgeous tie draping down the back.

The red, black and ivory are made of a luxe satin poly that’s a great medium weight. The bibi floral has a textured swiss dot, and the leopard a fun gold foil dot, and both fully lined. #details!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS and find it completely true to size. Mama SP in a small, and Nicole a 3X.
Undergarment: Completely bra-friendly, unless you cinch it extra tight, in which case you’ll need a racerback or strapless bra. I’m a fan of the NuBra, but Mama Sugarplum prefers this strapless bra.
Pair it: Gorgeous with the Etoile skirt, Coco skirt, Brigitte pant, and jeans. Perfect layered under the Mimi blazer, too.

The Confetti Double V-Neck Tank

The Confetti V-Neck Tank is a flattering double v-neck, scooping in both the front and the back (but still bra-friendly!!). The sequins are the perfect shade of champagne that absolutely glow and flatter all skin tones, and is fully-lined (not scratchy!).

The Leopard is a fully-lined chiffon with a fun foil dot pattern, and the velvet is smooth and soft in a bombshell shade of red.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS, but would size down if in-between. Mama SP in an XS and Nicole a 3X.
Undergarment: Standard bra-friendly!

The Lumiere Ballet Top

You asked for options with sleeves, so we designed the gorgeous Lumiere Ballet Top! The ballet style is bra-friendly with shoulders that stay put and a low back that stops just above the strap! The champagne and black sequins are stretchy and fully-lined for a soft and comfortable fit, while the velvet hugs with a touch of stretch. My favorite, the black ponte knit is extra thick and stretchy, with a classic fit and style that goes well beyond the holiday season.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS and find it completely true to size. Mama SP in a small, Nicole a 3X.

The Coco Holiday Skirt

We couldn’t have a Holiday Collection without skirts, and I knew I wanted a playful party skirt, as well as a sophisticated chiffon! The Coco Holiday Skirt is a gorgeous chiffon, in a modest and flattering knee-length. The Leopard has the fun foil dot and the Bibi Floral a swiss dot, and both are fully-lined. The sash is attached and can be tied in the front, side or back.

We also added a concealed elastic band to the back, allowing for a comfortable fit at the waist for a range of body shapes! The skirt is so light and floaty, you’ll want to wear it for everything!

Fit Tip: I‘m wearing an XS-Petite to allow more length in the regular sizes! So if you’re under 5’4″, I’d recommend petite, but the rest of you stick with regular (unless you prefer it shorter!) The elastic has a lot of give, so size down one if you’re small-waisted. Mama SP in an XS-Petite and Nicole a 3X-regular.
Undergarment: Your favorite undies will be just fine, it’s fully-lined!
Pair it: Gorgeous with the Noel, Confetti, and Lumiere tops. Pairs beautifully with the Mimi blazer, too. Wear the skirt with the matching top for a fun set, or as separates.

The Etoile Box Pleat Party Skirt

I love a full skirt for Holiday, and the Etoile Box Pleat Party Skirt brings the fun! Beautifully-made box pleats give it a chic and elevated style, and the fuller skirt creates the illusion of much smaller waist. The length is both fun and youthful, while still totally appropriate.

The Black and Ivory are fully-lined and made of the most gorgeous jacquard, that’s both textured and a little shimmery! The plaid is woven in a soft, thick material, with a fun gold lurex for a little extra shine. It’s fitted through the waist and zips in the back.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS-Petite for a shorter length, but would recommend regular sizing for 5’5″ and up. The waist is fitted without elastic, so consider sizing up one depending on your shape. Mama SP in Small-Petite.
Undergarment: Your favorite undies will do just fine, it’s fully lined!

The Joyeux Fit and Flare Dress

You know I wouldn’t leave out dresses…after-all, they’re my wardrobe love language! And we designed the Joyeux Fit-and-Flare Dress to be absolutely everything I love in a dress…flattering fit-and-flare shape, full skirt, defined waist with a flirty tie, and the cutest little cap sleeve. It’s feminine, and sassy, and prim all at the same time, and I’m obsessed!

It comes in our perfect Tartan Plaid (that lurex!), and the fun Ivory Jacquard (subtle shine). We kept it a fun length that’s just below the knee, which is both flattering and modest, but also leaves some room for height.

The Soiree Sequin Shift Dress

Now it’s time for some sass!! We designed the Soiree Sequin Tank Dress with New Year’s Eve in mind, but it’s so fun for any festive evening event! Or add the Mimi Velvet Blazer to dress it down a bit or for a little more coverage.

The coppery hue is stunning on all skin tones, and even has a subtle leopard print! It’s stretchy and fully-lined, so incredibly soft and comfortable to wear. But warning: it causes dancing!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS-Petite for a shorter length, so size down if you’re shorter than 5’5″. Mama SP in a small petite.

The Brigitte Wide Leg Pant

I asked for a pant that makes me look extra-tall and thin, is easy to wear, super comfortable, and effortlessly chic. And the Gibson design team delivered the most perfect Brigitte Wide Leg Pant, and I promise it will be the only pant you need this party season!!

Made of a thick woven crepe, it drapes beautifully and has gorgeous movement when you walk. The wide satin waistband adds a touch of shine, and creates a flattering silhouette. Of course it has pockets, and we even added a concealed elastic band in the back for an easy, comfortable fit that accommodates a range of waist sizes.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS-Petite for a shorter length, and am still wearing them with heels! Mama SP is in an XS-Petite as well, thanks to the elastic waist.
Undergarment: Your favorite undies will be great, the material is thick!

The Mimi Velvet Blazer

And finally, you all know I’m obsessed with the Gibson knit blazer, so adding it to our Collection was easy…except we made it in the most stunning stretch black velvet!!! Fully-lined in a silky satin, the Mimi Velvet Blazer is a great shrunken fit for throwing on all our Holiday Collection tops and dresses, adding instant style and class.

Plus the shape is incredibly flattering with a nipped-in waist and slim shoulders.
