Best of 2020 | Style

Happy Friday, friends, and cheers to the weekend! Do you have any fun plans? We’ve got a volleyball tournament both days, so our booties will be parked on the bleachers. Little Miss has been playing for years, but only recently did I finally get a stadium chair, and oh my wow what a difference it makes! I’ll admit, this is no regular foldable seat… in fact, it’s more comfortable than most the chairs in my house, ha!

I’ve been recapping the most popular posts of last year… and there were a lot of them (over 200!). But what made 2020 so unbelievably special was you… and the opportunities that came from your support, readership, comments, and genuine enthusiasm and encouragement.

Today we’re finishing up our look back at 2020, with my favorite style posts of the year. Fashion has been a big part of this blog from the very beginning… in fact, I had an Outfit Inspiration post in my first week of blogging… but I beg you not to go back and look at it! Let’s just say I’ve learned a little in the last almost 12 years! (Can you believe I’ve been blogging that long!? #OG)

I prefer my fashion posts to be helpful, as well as inspirational, so most times I’m giving you multiple ways to style and wear new items. Along with Faves Under $50 posts, these were some of your favorites in the Style category…

Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Collections //

I’m constantly amazed by the experiences and opportunities that come my way through blogging. To me, I’m just sharing thoughts and ideas with friends on the internet everyday. Hands-down, my biggest professional accomplishment has been the Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Collections. My heart still races when I think about it. How. Did. That. Happen?!? And not just once, but our EIGHTH Collection is just around the corner!

The faith and trust Gibson has in us (because I couldn’t do it without you!!), humbles me beyond articulation. I’ve never been more excited and petrified of something in my life, but the way you show up to support the Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Collections blows us all away! I literally have tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat when I say, ‘With all my heart, thank you.’

We created three brand-new Collections last year, no easy task with a pandemic… but our incredible teams made it happen! (Seriously, the stories I could tell! You wouldn’t believe the hurdles!) I can’t wait to share what we have in store for 2021!
