Best of 2020 | Beauty

Happy Monday, friends and welcome back to a new week! I hope you had a fun and relaxing New Year’s holiday! We relaxed at the new lake house for a few days (I’m sharing updates on Instagram Stories, have you seen them? I’ll share more here soon, too!)… then spent the weekend cheering our favorite volleyball player.

I can’t believe she’s back to (virtual) school tomorrow… the break flew by way too fast! We’ve got a few more weeks with Mr. College Guy home, so that’s a perk.

I’m taking a few days to reflect back on what we accomplished and experienced in the last 12 months, and so far I’ve shared Top 10 Reader FavoritesBest of Prime, and Best of Fitness & Wellness. With over 200 blog posts a year, it’s a lot of content, and I love to see what you love most.

This year, we chatted more about beauty and skincare than ever before, so today I’m sharing a roundup of the most popular Beauty posts. Click the link under each photo for the full post.

Ok, off the treadmill here to take notes on this post. That Gibson pink ruffle blouse/red skirt is so, so gorgeous/timeless/classic!
Ok, back on the treadmill to feel better about my niece not being able to finish her last term in college,… in college. Final classes, graduation, semester abroad, friends, family, parties, etc. Zip. I feel so bad for her (them). This (all) too shall pass, right? Thanks, SP(s)!!
Ps-send me your bill for the rant here.

I am so heartbroken for college kids everywhere, really all kids in school! It is so hard. Good job getting on that treadmill! xo, C

I’d love to hear more about skincare ingredients. For example, is it possible to age your skin more quickly by layering on too many AHAs? They all say wear sunscreen (which I do) but I’m worried I’m taking short term gain for longer-term pain. I don’t want to look “a bit younger” now to prematurely age myself -years- later down the road. And like, Vitamin C seems to be the new thing but I have no idea what it does beside “brightening”. Maybe that is all it does? Lol I clearly need to look this up!

    Happy new year!

Hi Hayley! I may not be the best resource for those questions! I’d check with your dermatologist for the ‘serious’ stuff and head back to Hi Sugarplum for my fun but not professional reviews, ha! xoxo, C
