Y’all actually introduced me to this brand, and I became an instant fan after testing out my first product. Plus, all their products are cruelty-free, paraben-free, and phthalate-free, and verified as Sephora Clean, so I know I’m putting all good stuff on my skin.

After several months of use, there are a handful of products now part of my regular routine, and have been key in making my skin brighter and literally glow! (They don’t replace my skincare routine, but rather, fill in the gaps.)

Boosting that ‘glow’ starts with exfoliation. Basically, dead skin cells accumulate on the skin’s surface, which can leave your complexion looking dull, rough and dry. There are two types of exfoliation…physical and chemical. Physical involves scrubs, dermaplaning, and manual rubbing that removes the rough, flaky skin.

Chemical exfoliation involves acids, such as AHAs, BHAs and PHAs, to loosen the “glue” that holds the dead surface layer of skin together, and reveal the newer, fresher skin underneath. Adding Glow 2OH Dark Spot Toner and Balancing Force Oil Control Toner to my morning and evening routine have been a game-changer for my skin, and it’s something I actually look forward to!

After cleansing my face in the morning, I use the Balancing Force Oil Control Toner to remove excess oil and help unclog, purify and minimize the appearance of pores. It’s incredible what shows up on the cotton pad, even after just sleeping!

This refreshing face toner also has an energizing eucalyptus-peppermint scent for an instant pick-me-up. I’m already addicted to the feeling and smell! I follow it up with Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum, Banana Bright Eye Creme (we’ll chat about these in a sec!), moisturizer and SPF.

Balancing Force Oil Control Toner

In the evening, I follow my cleansing routine with the Glow 2OH Dark Spot Toner. It’s supercharged with a high concentration of AHAs (glycolic and lactic acids) and witch hazel water, to reduce the look of dark spots. It also targets fine lines and wrinkles, and smooths texture. But this powerful AHA toner is also infused with sandalwood, chamomile and licorice extracts, so it’s gentle enough for daily use.

I apply all over my face, neck and chest, and am always shocked by how much more cleansing it does! Once it’s absorbed, I follow it up with the rest of my evening skincare routine of anti-aging serums and moisturizers.

The next step in getting that glow is Vitamin C…an antioxidant that helps improve skin’s elasticity, defend skin against environmental stressors such as pollution, brighten and reduce the appearance of dark spots and pores.

Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum has a whopping 15%…Ole’s highest concentration of vitamin C for daily use. It also contains PHAs and hyaluronic acids, which target all the major signs of aging. A single pump acts as an actual shield, protecting skin from environmental pollutants, and has an immediate sheen that instantly brightens skin.

It has a slightly tacky texture until fully-absorbed, so I find it’s best to wait a few minutes before continuing with moisturizer and makeup.
