Happy Tuesday, friends! Thanks for all the love on our guest room yesterday. I can’t wait for the day we can welcome guests in our home again!
But today we’re talking beauty and skincare… two of my favorite topics these days! My makeup routine has definitely become more minimal as this quarantine goes on, but thanks to the extra time at home, my skincare routine has ramped up! I’m using this time as an opportunity to pamper my skin with lots of masks, hydration, and the chance to breathe without daily makeup.
I recently added a few new products, and they became instant favorites! And the good news (besides them being absolutely incredible), is most are included in Colleen Rothchild’s huge sale today, with all her bestsellers now 25% off with code ‘BESTSKIN25’! Plus, they’re donating 5% of all sales today to No Kid Hungry. Such an incredible opportunity to stock up on your faves, while helping others, too.
Here’s my daily line-up recently…

Colleen Rothchild and Olaplex dominate my daily routine now, and my skin and hair are looking so much better because of it! You’ve heard me talking about the Olaplex Hair System in my Sephora Hauls (see those HERE), and the combo of No. 6 Reparative Styling Creme, along with a few drops of the No. 7 Bonding Oil make my hair look strong, shiny, and frizz-free. Plus, much-needed heat protection!
Mama Sugarplum and I have been fans of Colleen’s products for years… even my kids and Mr. SP use them. I especially love her retinol products for refining skin tone and texture, fading age spots, and combating dullness. They’re they highest concentration of retinol for noticeable skin renewal, yet leave skin super moisturized without any flaking or peeling. I use it nightly, after cleansing and before moisturizer.
Mom swears by the Retinol Supreme Eye Serum, and insists it reversed the signs of aging on her eyelids and skin around her eyes.

I recently added Vitamin C Treatment and her new Glycolic Acid Peel Pads, and LOVE them both!! The Glycolic Acid Peel Pads are a spa-strength treatment formulated to help dissolve skin-clogging dirt and debris with a 10% blend of Glycolic and Lactic Acids, targeting fine lines and hyperpigmentation.
I use it on my face, neck, chest and hands every other night after cleansing (the pads are huge and have a ton of product!), followed by my nightly Retinol Supreme Night Oil and Retinol Supreme Eye Serum and Extreme Recovery Cream.

The Vitamin C Treatment adds radiance, while acting as a barrier against environmental aggressors like pollution, stress, and sun damage. I think of it as a shield between my skin and the environment! The potent form of Vitamin C helps reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation, too, while stimulating collagen production.
I wear it daily under my Sheer Renewal Cream.

Okay, now that my skin is nourished, renewed and hydrated… let’s talk makeup. My daily routine has always been simple, especially so now that we don’t leave the house! Some days I’m tempted to wear no makeup at all (and believe me, I have those days, too!), but I’ve discovered I’m more productive and feel more like myself with just a few key products.
I start with my morning skincare routine… and the combo of Vitamin C Treatment and Sheer Renewal Cream gives my skin a dewy glow (literally… they have illuminating properties)! On days I go outside, I add NARS Tinted Moisturizer for more coverage and SPF protection.
The rest is just a quick way to accent my eyes (I look so tired without it!), and a little color for my lips.
- Tarte Fake Awake Nude Liner on my lower waterline to brighten and highlight
- Clinique Quick Longwear Eyeliner to define my eyes
- Benefit Gimme Brow Gel to darken and set my brows
- It Cosmetics Lash Blowout Mascara, I never skip mascara!
- Kosas Wet Lip Oil Gloss in ‘Maui’
