Happiest of Hump Days, lovebugs! I hope your day is off to a great start! Today I’ve got a fun double-whammy for you, with not only another cute Summer of Style, featuring a darling chambray dress that I love so much I styled it two ways… but also all the scoop on everyone’s favorite annual sale!

Yes ma’am, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is just around the corner, and I’ve got everything you need to know! But first, let’s chat chambray, shall we?!

This dress is everything I love for summer.. .especially during this crazy heat wave! It’s soft and lightweight, with a relaxed swing fit. Basically what that means is nothing is touching my body and I can achieve maximum coolness!

It’s a great length for busy days, and is cute with wedges, sandals and even sneakers.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS, but would size up if in-between.

Chambray is the best neutral and goes with literally any color. I popped it up with this fun woven bag, which comes in both pink and black. The studded sandals give it a little edge, and are shockingly comfortable!

Fit Tip: Sandals are true to size, with a soft, padded footbed.

Kendra Scott is bringing it this year, each Collection better than the one before! I love these new hoops, and I’ve been wearing the double ring on repeat for months.

My favorite way to wear this dress lately is with sneakers, and I keep reaching for these. The embroidery is so fun and happy, but mostly, they’re just so dang comfortable! The leather gets softer with each wear, and I love the cushioned cork insole. I’ve had them for over a year, and have been so happy with their versatility.

Now let’s chat Nordstrom Anniversary Sale…aka, my favorite sale of the year! I’ve been getting lots of questions about this year’s Sale (it’s different than ever before!), and if I’ll be covering it (you bet your new, discounted Fall boots I am!).

FAQ // The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020

Q. What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of the most anticipated sales of the year, and one of the few I cover extensively (Sugarplums love their Nordys!). It’s packed with tons of brand-new styles, many of which are only discounted during this Sale, and all up to 40% off!

It includes items across all categories… Women’s Clothing and Accessories, Shoes, Beauty, Mens, Kids, Home and MORE! It’s the best time to stock up on brand new merchandise for fall and winter, along with staple pieces you’ll wear for years to come.

Q. When is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year?

This year is a little different…in lieu of a printed catalog, the entire NSale will preview online starting July 24 for everyone. This gives ample time to browse the selections, and add items to your own personal Wish List.

Nordstrom cardmembers get early access and may start shopping as early as August 4, depending on your Nordy Club status. The sale opens for all (not just cardmembers) on August 19, and prices will go up on August 31.

Q. How do I unlock ‘Early Access’?

All Nordstrom cardmembers will receive early access to shop the NSale! You can apply for a Nordstrom card HERE, and new sign-ups receive a $40 Nordstrom Note!

Q. How do I determine my Nordy Club status?

Check your Nordy Club status by logging into your Nordstrom account and clicking on ‘The Nordy Club’ on the left sidebar.

Q. Will I be able to stop in-store this year?

Inventory in-stores is typically limited, but you’ll be able to shop the entire NSale online. Find the list of all open stores HERE, along with their protocols on social-distancing and masks. Online shopping starts 9:30am EDT/6:30am PDT on each of the above dates.

Q. What’s new for this year’s NSale?

Two things in particular, and I’m pumped for both! Instead of mailing out a catalog like in years past, the entire NSale will preview online July 24, with the option to create a personal Wish List. That’s at least two weeks to leisurely browse the Sale, add items to a personal Wish List, and quickly check-out when your shopping access begins!
