Amazon Fashion Finds | July

Happy Friday, friends, and cheers to the weekend!! How was your week? I found myself wound up pretty tight more often than not… I seriously need to get a grip! Or at least find an outlet or new coping techniques. My family may kick me to the curb if I don’t lighten up.

We had to choose between in-person or at-home school for Little Miss this week, and honestly, neither option is ideal. Either way, the kids are missing out on so much. Can you even believe this is still happening?! If you’d told me in March we’d still be battling this pandemic by the new school year, I’d have scoffed! And yet, here we are. Surely we won’t be having this conversation next semester, too?!

But let’s switch the conversation over to something more fun!! Today is time for your favorite monthly series, Amazon Fashion Finds! I started these Fashion Finds almost two years ago, and they quickly became reader-faves. It takes some intense digging to find the good stuff, but I love the challenge of discovering such gems! And remember, I’d never share anything with you that I wouldn’t wear myself, or recommend to my best friend!

This month’s haul has a strong focus on classic closet staples, plus a handful of reader-favorites that are finally restocked.

Sizing info: I’m 5’4″ 120-ish pounds, and usually wear an XS/0 and 26 jeans. My fit tips and size recommendations are included with each description.

Tops, Tees & Tanks //

I shared this muscle tank last month (the cute pink one!), and immediately ordered more colors (it’s that good!). I love the stretchy, thick material, the bra-friendly fit, and the styling versatility. It also washes and dries beautifully.

This sporty tank is unexpected… I love the feminine silhouette, paired with the wide, sporty stripes. It’s a racerback fit with adjustable straps. The material is a poly-blend that feels like a t-shirt.

Hello perfect v-neck! I love the softness and relaxed fit of this tee! The arms are loose, the material soft, and it’s a great weight with no sheerness.

I’m always a sucker for embroidery, there’s something just so happy and summery about it! This top is a great linen-blend and lightweight, with gorgeous contrasting embroidery. It’s a touch sheer, as you can see my jeans through the bottom, but not so much you’d need to layer a cami.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Small, but would prefer an XS, so it’s true to size.

Y’all loved the ‘Babe’ tee so much, I thought you might like a little ‘Honey,’ too! (Find the Babe tee HERE, it’s back-in-stock and only $12!) This one is the same super-stretchy knit, that’s soft and a great medium weight.

You’ve seen this skirt before, it’s a fave around here… but what I’m sharing this month is the top. You know I love a good henley, and this one is actually a bodysuit! It’s a stretchy, ribbed material, that’s lightweight, but not sheer. The bottom is a little cheeky, but I just layer it over my regular undies for a comfy fit.

Now for a few restocks of the most popular tops lately…. starting with this woven peplum top with the cutest ruffle neck and flutter sleeves. This piece is darling for spring and summer, but also transitions into fall.

This puff-sleeve top is hands-down one of my fave finds of the season, and was definitely one of yours. I’m thrilled to see it back in a range of colors and sizes. It’s a woven material that’s easily dressed up for work, or kept casual for weekend.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Small. The XS fits, as well, but I prefer the slightly looser fit in the arm of the small.

This peplum is another fun top… the same thick, woven material with a high-low hem and drop shoulders. This would be cute moving into fall, as well.

And finally for tops, this embroidered flutter sleeve has been a favorite for years… and rarely stays in stock long! I have both the blue stripes and the white, and love them both! I snip the tassel ties off mine, but that’s just a preference.

Dresses //

Okay, moving on to dresses… this muscle swing dress is the quintessential ‘throw-on summer staple!’ It’s super soft and lightweight jersey knit that has a silky smooth and cool feel, perfect in these crazy hot days. Throw it on with sandals for running around town, over your swimsuit, or just lounging around the house. It feels like pajamas, and I love the easy swing shape.

I know y’all love a good maxi, and this one is made of a cool rayon with great movement. The elastic is strong and easily stays put, with a cute ruffle top and comfortable elastic waist. Can you believe the bag is Amazon, too? Shows how these dresses can instantly update with the addition of a few cute accessories.

I actually ordered this dress to wear as a cover-up, but I love it for streetwear, too! The cutest stripes with fun, multi-colored embroidery, oversized flutter sleeves and a swing shape. It’s lightweight and slightly textured, with no sheerness. It comes with long tassels, but I prefer to tuck or snip them off for less distraction.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Small, definitely size up.

Embroidered Striped Dress | Sandals

This tiered dress is a little thinner than I’d hoped, but an easy throw-on dress none-the-less. It’s not sheer, but feels almost weightless! It’s a stretchy knit with forgiving tiered skirt and slim sleeves.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Small, but would prefer a size up.

I was instantly smitten with the pattern and colors of this sundress, and loved it even more once I tried it on! It feels like a linen-blend, with adjustable straps and a slight high-low hem. It’s breezy and light, but not sheer. The top is double-lined, so bra-less is an option if you don’t need a lot of support.

Now for a few restocked faves… this halter maxi flew out of stock the first time I shared it, and I’ve received tons of messages from those of you who love it, too. It’s a silky rayon material, with elastic waist and high-low hem. It comes in several colors, but the solids are a different material (more woven than smooth).

This skirt sold out in one day last time… so no promises!! But as of posting time, it was back in all sizes in this exact color way! It’s a pull-on midi with elastic waist and the cutest mini-pleats. It’s fully-lined and easily dressed up or down.

And while this one isn’t the same soft fabric and quality, it’s a great option. It’s also a bit cheeky, so I layer it over my usual undies for a more comfortable fit.

Swimsuits & Coverups //

This suit instantly jumped to my Top 5 favorite Amazon swimsuits of all time! I adore the deep-v with ruffle trim, and the back has the cutest criss-cross straps. Even better is the subtle ruching across the tummy for a flattering fit, and the bodice seam provides some support. It’s also fully-lined.

Activewear //

I found a couple of new workout pieces I think you’ll love… starting with a great sports bra that pairs perfectly with our favorite leggings! It’s the same great ‘second skin’ material, but fully-lined for more support, and with removable cups. The back has a cute criss-cross, but I really love the longer length for pairing with high-waisted leggings. I can’t say enough good things about this line!

If you haven’t noticed, I workout pretty much exclusively in tank-style tops, and prefer a slight swing shape to them. It’s just what’s most comfortable for me. This tank is a great find, in a lightweight, soft material that’s stretchy and dries quickly. It has a cute pleat in the back and a racerback neckline.

The pants are a traditional jogger style, but in a lightweight nylon material… perfect for activewear. The waist is soft and stretchy, with a drawstring and a tapered ankle for a flattering fit.

Accessories //

This striped tote is a great find… incredible style and quality, and so cute with a range of summer outfits. I also found these lightweight knit masks, and it’s all my family wears! I have several ‘cute’ ones, but honestly, the basic white is what I reach for most (and all my kids will wear).

These are double-layer, but super soft and lightweight. They fit from the bridge of my nose to just under my chin, and the straps are thin and don’t bother the back of my ears. If we need them tightened, we just tie a little knot at the ends. If you prefer decorative masks, these would be fun to tie-dye, dip-dye, or even embroider. I stocked up to keep from doing laundry every other day!

You know I’m a huge fan of the bracelet stack, and I’m constantly looking for fresh, new styles. These are right up my alley… so colorful and textured, but also super lightweight. There are several similar options on Amazon, but these with the gold beads are my faves. Great price for a 5-pack… and so cute to double up with two sets!

Feels a little strange sharing undies with you, but I do love these… so figured you might, too? I mostly wear them to sleep, and love the mid-rise, no-wedgie, super-soft seams!
