Best of Amazon (So Far This Year!)

Happy Monday, friends, and welcome back to a new week! There’s no question 2020 has been a doozy. Or more like a humdinger. Actually, neither of those words quite does the trick… someone should make up a better, stronger word to define 2020! Any ideas? Keep it clean, people! 😉

But the good news is it’s already halfway over! Somehow it’s both flown by and stood still at the same time. But all I can say is, thank goodness for Amazon! I’ve always been a hard-core Amazon fan, but they’ve come through like no one else during the last few months, delivering just about everything we need directly to our doorstep. I didn’t realize just how much I depend on them for literally everything from home and fashion, to technology and beauty.

And considering how popular my monthly Amazon Hauls are, I’d say you guys feel the same! Since we’re at the half-way point, I thought I’d share my best of the best so far this year. These new finds are making my life so much easier, or more fun!

one // Luxury Detergent // How can laundry detergent be on this list, you ask? Because it makes the entire house smell AMAZING! I just add a splash with my regular Tide scent-free detergent, and it’s like we’ve been transported to the spa. A little goes a long way! This set also makes the perfect gift!

two // Pant Hangers // Mama SP helped me overhaul my closet several months ago, and I grabbed these wooden hangers for all my jeans and trousers. They are slim and take up less hanging space, plus are super sturdy and stylish.

three // Pet Spray // This spray removes pet stains and odor like I’ve never seen before!

four // Fur Broom // This along with the spray makes pet ownership cleaner and less stinky! But warning… the amount of fur this broom scrapes off your rugs and carpets is astonishing!

five // Silk Pillowcase // I converted to silk pillowcases a few years ago and will never go back! Cotton pillowcases actually absorb all the moisture from your skin and hair. I’ve tried several inexpensive ones, and finally found the best affordable option! This one is less than $25, comes in a slew of colors, and all the traditional pillow sizes… and it rivals the $$$ one I have from Nordstrom!

six // Dermaplaning Razors // These will pretty much always make a Sugarplum ‘best of’ list! I’ve tried several brands, and I always go back to this inexpensive option. You can find my dermaplaning video tutorial and FAQs HERE!

seven // Leopard Throw Blanket // All of the Sugarplums fight over this blanket on the couch each night! It’s so soft and comes in all the standard sizes. Plus, you can’t beat the price!

eight // Head Wraps // This trio of microfiber headbands pleasantly surprised me! I use them every morning and evening for my skincare routines. They also make a fun little ‘pick me up’ gift!

nine // Bath Mat // Why yes I did put a bath mat on my top finds! But if you have kids, especially teens, then you know how quickly bath mats go from acceptable to ‘OHEMGEE, WHAT HAPPENED?!’ These are great quality, come in tons of colors and sizes, and the price is right.

ten // Santal Oil // This essential oil smells almost exactly like my favorite perfume, but at a fraction of the price! We diffuse this daily, and it makes the whole house smell divine.

eleven // Bath Pillow // Baths are next-level now that my head and neck are supported! This pillow suctions to the side of your tub and allows your head to stabilize while reading or just soaking and doing nothing. It’s a great density, but dries quickly!!

twelve // Mascara // I had to try this $5 tube of mascara for myself, and wowza, is it good! It rivals any department store brand I’ve tried, and I find myself reaching for it more and more.

thirteen // Wireless Charger // I keep this handy gadget right on my desk, and it keeps my phone always charge. It also frees up your port in case you need to use plug-in headphones!

fourteen // Window Cloths // We have Mama Sugarplum to thank for this find! These cloths get even the dirtiest window clean with just water! No spots or streaks, not even chemicals! They are machine washable, too!

fifteen // Self-Tanning Mitt // This mitt is the secret weapon to your self-tanning success! It allows the product to apply more smoothly and evenly. You can check out my application video tutorial and all self-tan products I use HERE.

sixteen // Glass Food Containers // I snagged these containers as a more eco-friendly option, and have since tossed all our plastic containers! These are dishwasher-safe, freezer-safe, and leak-proof. There’s even a vent on the top for heating in the microwave. I love how neatly and compactly they stack in the fridge and store in my cabinets.

seventeen // Wreath // Changing up our front porch decor is one of my favorite easy ways to freshen up a space! This boxwood wreath is perfect for spring and summer, plus it comes with a gorgeous box for easy storage.

eighteen // Faux Succulent // I love adding some green into little spaces for an extra pop of happy! These faux plants style nicely in bookshelves, on the coffee table, on the entryway, even the powder bath.

nineteen // Teeth Whitener // This whitening set is a good alternative to the standard strips… the tray doesn’t slip off! I didn’t find my teeth to be extra sensitive to this formula, and I like the no-mess application.

twenty // Thermometer // Never would I have imagined that a thermometer would end up on my mid-year Amazon favorites list, but here we are! This option is contactless, digital, and delivers accurate temps in seconds. It also looks to be on sale!

twenty one // Avocado Saver // We eat a ton of avocados in the Sugarplum household, and somehow the leftover half would always get smashed in the back of the fridge, and then wasted. These saver containers keep the halves fresh and safe for later use!
