Amazon Fashion Finds | June

Happy Friday, friends, and cheers to the weekend! It’s been a bit of a sad week, as I said goodbye to my last living grandparent. He lived a long, happy life, and died peacefully, so I’m grateful for that.

Please keep Mama Sugarplum in your thoughts and prayers as she navigates not only saying goodbye to her dad, but in the middle of a pandemic. It’s also her birthday on Sunday!

Today is time for your favorite monthly series, Amazon Fashion Finds! I started these Fashion Finds over two years ago, and they quickly became reader-faves. It takes some intense digging to find the good stuff, but I love the challenge of discovering such gems! And remember, I’d never share anything with you that I wouldn’t wear myself, or recommend to my best friend!

This month’s haul is one of my favorites to date, as evidenced by how many pieces I’m keeping for myself!!!

Sizing info: I’m 5’4″ 120-ish pounds, and usually wear an XS/0 and 26 jeans. My fit tips and size recommendations are included with each description. 

Dresses //

This month is heavy on dresses, especially the flowy kind…I just love wearing them in the hot summer months. We’ll start with one of my fave finds of the month, this linen-blend tiered dress. It’s got a bit of sturdiness to it, in a quality fabric and fit. I love the a-line shape and flirty flutter sleeves. It’s bra-friendly and has pockets, too! It’s on the shorter side, so I’ll keep it casual with flat sandals.

I loved this dress so much, I ended up wearing it the rest of the day! Made of the softest rayon blend, it’s cool and lightweight with great flow. The buttons are operational and the the drop-waist is relaxed and comfy. This one will go fast!

Patterned Maxi Dress | Sandals | Bangles

 

I actually have this dress in blue stripes, and love it so much I wanted to try the yellow, too. It’s so cheery and happy! Made of a great quality cotton, this thick t-shirt dress is comfortable and forgiving, and so easy to wear! I love the slight a-line shape and drop shoulders.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS, but love the slightly oversized fit of a small, too.

The same stripe pattern and soft material, this t-shirt dress is a straight style and slightly longer length. It has fun flutter sleeves, and is crazy-comfortable.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Small, but I prefer to size up in styles that don’t flare away from my bum

Striped Ruffle Sleeve Dress | Sandals | Bangles

 

My fave Amazon dress brand, they make incredible pieces for work and weekend in incredible quality fabrics. This spotted cutie has a feminine ruffle neckline and flutter sleeves, and is fully-lined. Made of a lightweight, but sturdy, rayon blend, it can be worn loose or tied as a shirt-dress. It’s easy to dress up for work, or keep it casual for weekends. Add heels and you’ve got a great evening look, too!

Polka Dot V-Neck Dress | Sandals | Bangles

 

I wasn’t expecting much with this dress given the price, so was surprised by how much I liked it! It slips over the head with a button closure and comfortable elastic waist. It’s fully-lined and a textured crinkle fabric that’s soft and lightweight. There are a ton of styling options with this one, making it super versatile.

If you love loose dresses with sleeves, this one is for you! Made of a silky-soft and cool rayon blend, it’s fully-lined with feminine details. It has a slightly longer length, too.

This shirtdress is fun for casual weekends, but could easily transition for workwear (or Zoom!). It’s super lightweight, with a classic shirtdress shape. It’s unlined, but not sheer, and the buttons are operational. I love the shoulder detail and pattern, too.

This sheath dress has a flirty flare hem, and is made of a thick, stretchy crepe blend. Add a blazer for a more polished look, or pair it with heels for a night out.

Sleeveless Drop Waist Dress | Block Heels | Bangles

 

This halter maxi is a showstopper, but is actually a lightweight woven material. I love how it moves and flows, and is fully-lined with a tie back halter neck. The waist is a comfortable elastic, and comes with a detachable tie belt. I have this same dress in the black dots, and it’s a little shorter and a rayon blend, so this solid black is a different material.

Skirts & Shorts //

It seems I have a collection of these pull-on skirts now! I already have the leopard and green (both back in stock!), and love how cute and easy they are with a basic white tee or tank, or even worn over a one-pieces swimsuit as a fun cover-up option. It’s fairly short on me, so I stick with flat sandals or flip-flops.

These shorts are a quality linen blend with cute paperbag-style waist. They zip and close, but are also full elastic waist for a comfortable and forgiving fit. I love the looser leg and removable tie belt for a feminine look. My only issue is they don’t come in more color options!

I prefer a 3.5″ inseam for my shorts, but have had requests for longer options. These cotton twill shorts are great quality and weight, and come in a range of colors and patterns.

Tanks, Tees & Tops //

One of the most basic finds this month, and one of my favorites! I seriously want this muscle tank in every color. More than a basic tank, it’s a thick modal cotton, with a slight slub texture. The quality is incredible and a solid medium weight that washes and wears beautifully. I love the true crewneck and flattering shoulder line.

Who doesn’t love a fun embroidered top for summer? I love the bold colors and medium weight of this one, with a forgiving bell shape. The embroidery is really well done, too.

Another fun surprise, this woven top with a peplum hem has the cutest print and puffed sleeve. It’s lightweight and silky-soft with a longer length that fully covers the bum.

A classic striped button-up, but in a silky-soft woven material rather than the standard crisp cotton. I love the petite collar and drop cuffed sleeve. It’s cool and so lightweight, and can be worn tucked or loose.

It wouldn’t be a good Amazon Haul without a fun graphic tee! This washed cotton is super soft and already feels like your favorite old tee, but with a cheerful graphic.

This tank is a knit-blend with lots of stretch and a fun sporty stripe. The shoulder cuts in a bit for a great shape, but is still bra-friendly.

This long-sleeve tee actually offers superior sun protection with SPF 50! It’s lightweight and silky, and comes in a slew of colors in both short and long-sleeves. It’s great for staying protected on walks and outdoor events.

Loungewear //

I shared this lightweight lounge set earlier this week, and can’t stop wearing it! It’s sandblasted for a super-soft finish, and perfect light weight for spring and summer. I paired the jogger pants with the hooded pullover, but a crewneck option is available, too.

This knit jumpsuit is soft enough for loungewear, but cute enough to wear out and about. In fact, I wore this exact combo on Wednesday! A great fit with lots of stretch, this wide leg jumpsuit is lightweight with a ribbed fabric that has a lot of give. The elastic waist and drawstring are a comfortable fit, and it’s bra-friendly, too.

Accessories //

Y’all loved the bralette comparison in my last Dressing Room Diaries, so I hunted for more great options. This seamless bralette is soft and stretchy, with removable cups. There’s also a little hidden ruching inside to prevent the uniboob. I’m still partial to my beloved True & Co bra (I have every color now!), but this is a good affordable option.

Fit Tip: I found the Amazon bralette to run a little small, so I’d size up. Use the bra suggestion for the True & Co bra.

And finally, you know I love my Tory Burch Miller Sandals…I’ve worn them more times than I can count over the years. They go with absolutely everything from dressy-dresses to cut-off shorts, and have a way of making every combo more chic. I think the Millers are worth every penny, and I prefer the leather over patent, but if you’re looking for a similar style for less, these sandals are a great option!
