Top Ten | May

Nobody panic, but it’s June! Say whaaaaat?! Feels like Spring Break was last week, and now Summer break is upon us. Is it because I’m getting older, or is time seriously on fast-forward lately?! Tomorrow is my kid’s last day of school, and I know the next eleven weeks of break will just fly by. Can someone please hit the pause button?!

May was a busy month for us…with a complete room makeover and a two-week Scandinavian cruise. Truthfully, it kind of feels like a blur, so it’s nice to take a moment each month and look back at the projects and content I managed to create. Just in case you took an internet hiatus, here are the top posts from May.

After two weeks abroad, it became very clear which items in my suitcase were essential! These are my Top 10 Travel VIPs…like, I’ll never leave home without them!

Scandinavia is a quirky and colorful part of Europe and I’m so excited to share it all with you…starting with the delightful Tallinn, Estonia!

Wrapping up the Travel posts for last month, I posted our complete itinerary of Road Tripping the National Parks…with kids!

It’s full-blown Summer in Texas, y’all…which means ’tis the season for lightweight, breezy dresses. I styled this pretty floral number for Work & Weekend.

Packing posts are some of my most-requested…so I rounded up all the outfits from our two-week adventure! You’ll see the key pieces & how I mixed-and-matched to stretch my wardrobe.

Seven years. That’s how long I’ve been babbling on the internet. That’s like 100 years in tech time, right? I shared some thoughts on the experience, along with my seven favorite posts. It’s no real surprise they’re all the personal ones.

Our tiny Powder Room got a big makeover, thanks to a FrogTape Challenge. It was fun to bring the space to life, while helping to raise awareness for my favorite charity. Follow the process with the Before, Progress, and Big Reveal!

The jean jacket is probably a top 5 wardrobe staple for me, so I styled it 4 completely different ways to prove my point.

Last month also had another round of Sugarplum Style, and everyone’s favorite, Dressing Room Diaries, featuring tons of new finds, and recent outfits (and Mama Sugarplum!). I also threw in a couple of quick Faves Under $50, featuring fun new things I’ve got my eye on.

(Sidenote: I updated my Sugarplum Picks to reflect what I’m loving and wearing these days. You can always access that under the Shop tab.)

Ruffled Halter Midi Dress

Bow Sleeve Sweatshirt | White Jeans Sneakers | Crossbody Bag | Sunglasses | Hoop Earrings

June is starting big with the last day of school and a family trip, plus the Laundry Room Reveal…so stay tuned for those! I’ve got a fun week of Summer planned for next week, and tomorrow is another huge Sugarplum Style!

Thank you so much for stopping by when you do…your support and comments mean the world to me! Which posts are your favorites? Anything in particular you’d like to see this Summer?

Hi there – I would also like to see a post about the packing cubes. I notoriously OVERpack so I think these might help me get under control.
Also, I bought the black crop pants in your denim jacket post (I own the jacket and, btw, love it like crazy)…I bought 2 sizes…the smaller size feels a bit snug and the larger size feels just right BUT the tag says 7% spandex so I am worried they will stretch quite a bit. Did you notice yours stretching out during the day?
