Jean Jacket | White Dress

Cheers to Friday, friends! We are spending our last day in Copenhagen, and heading home tomorrow. This is actually my favorite stop of the entire trip, but I’m so ready to see my kids I can hardly focus on the colorful buildings and charming cafes. It’s been an amazing experience and I can’t wait to share all of it with you! See peeks of it on my Instagram.

But today we’re wrapping up the latest 5 Ways Series, all about the jean jacket. When creating outfits for a 5 Ways series, my goal is to give you options for a little bit of everything…work, weekend, and date night. Today’s style shows how even the dressiest dress can be paired with the humble jean jacket for a darling and chic look.

There’s no rule that says special occasion dresses must be saved for special occasions! I like to style them different ways for all kinds of occasions, after all, what’s the point of having an amazing dress if it stays hidden away?!

I’ve worn this dress with leopard heels and gold accessories for a classic evening look, but I love this colorful, casual combo even more! I’ve had this pom-pom clutch for years, and it always adds the perfect punch of personality to my outfits. I love the unexpected punch of green with the tassel earrings, too.

I used to shy away from white dresses, but now I appreciate their timeless, fresh style. I do make sure to hit the self-tanner before wearing one though! (See my tips for a natural and streak-free sunless tan here.)

Are your earrings the “light green” from Nordstrom or the emerald on the other site? I love that color, but neither one looks the same online! Thanks.
