Darling friends, I can not thank you enough for your kind, thoughtful and generous comments to me and my family. I’ve read every message, email and text, and they have lifted me up in a way I can’t adequately express. I am so grateful for this blogging community and your friendship.
I had quite a bit of content already created for you, and several commitments and deadlines, so I’m going to move forward with sharing it in the next couple of weeks. But I’ll be stepping back some behind the scenes, and spending more time with family, so forgive me if it takes longer than usual for a response.
If I could, I’d have every single one of you over for a hot chocolate (or hot toddy!) and some girl time, but since Mr. SP might find that awkward, I’d like to virtually welcome you to Christmas in our home! I’ve been sharing bits and pieces of our house decked-out for the holiday over the last few weeks, but today I’ve got it all in one spot…plus the other rooms you haven’t seen yet!
I’ll let the overload of photos do most of the talking…so pour yourself some cocoa, spike it if your boss isn’t looking, and poke around our house…I promise I won’t report you as a stalker. I’ve tried to link as many items below each photo as possible, but let me know in the comments if I overlooked something you want more details on.

I love you and your home. Praying for you this week. xo
Kudos for working so hard to refocus and see all the beauty and love of the season… your home is stunning and I pray that it is a balm to your soul as you grieve. Surrounding yourself with love will help more than anything we, as your readers/friends, can offer. Thank you for sharing so much of your world with us. You are a bright, beautiful light that makes everything seem better… I know that your sunny outlook and posts helped me immensely while I have been going through the loss of my parents this year. Never doubt that you have had a positive effect on the world with this blog… wishing you much love, joy, and peace for the coming year. Thank you for being YOU!
Your home is gorgeous! I love every little detail of Christmas in every room!
Beautiful, cozy, home! Thanks for sharing, love your blog and Merry Christmas!
Your house looks AMAZING! So festive and cozy! And I don’t know how you managed to adopt pups that match your decor. But you did. Well done.
Your Holiday decor is over the top and I love every aspect of it.
There is no tried and true recipe for grief so I urge you to take your time to grieve as long as you need. Rushing it is never a good thing. It’s been nearly 20 years since my father died and at times the grief is as raw as it was at his funeral. Remember this: our fathers were the first men we ever loved, so take your time.
Prayers and Christmas Blessings to you and your family.
Wishing you and your family peace and comfort at this difficult time! +
Such a bright and colorful home. So beautiful, Cassie. I am so very sorry about your dad. Grief can be so overwhelming it takes your breath away. May you all hold each other tight as you navigate this difficult time.
You are so adorable! Your puppies are the cutest. I love your plaid tree and bright colors!! Have a wonderful holiday!
xoxoxoxo
Such a beautiful home! I love all of your decor, but the brightest spot is always Mollie in the pics!
I want to come by and cuddle the dogs while looking at everything. It all looks great!
xoxo
Thanks for the good cheer you share through your blog. Have said this before, but you are close in age to my oldest son and it draws me into your world. We see him and his family about every two to three months (they live about a day’s drive away) and are close to us in spirit, but still love to see what their age mates are up to everyday. The photos are fine. You have one of the best and clearest written blogs around. I follow about 4 fashion and sewing and craft blogs and of the 4 all have lost a parent in the past year! Take time to recover but the blog of course has a healing touch as well.
Your home is gorgeous as always! Those fur babies though, they are the cutest! May you find peace and joy this season, I know it will not be easy.
Deck the halls with lots of maxi pads stuck to the walls
Wow, Cristina, what a completely rude comment! I’m going to give you a pass and assume that you missed Cassie’s post yesterday about her father passing away over the weekend. Regardless, the fact that you came to her blog and intentionally took the time to criticize her wallpaper speaks volumes about your manners or rather lack thereof. Totally tasteless!!
Beautiful Cassie. Thinking of you and yours this Christmas season. It is the first without my sweet gem of a MIL, so I know how difficult it can be. Blessings to you all.
Your home is beautiful! What color are your main walls? I like how you accessorize with lots of color.
Your home looks beautiful! I love how it looks so effortless and natural. Spend time with your loved ones and don’t worry about us, we’ll be here when you get back. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Your house is so FUN! I scrolled slowly so I didn’t miss a single thing. I love all the color 🙂
Spend all the time you need with your loved ones. We will still be here. Where is the gold mirror above the falalala pillow from? Your home is so beautiful and happy.
Nevermind, I found it. Apparently it isn’t available any longer.
I LOVE all the color in your home. Color and pattern is my jam. The trend now is neutral and even though it can be lovely i crave color. Your house is 😍
What a beautiful home and the art work is fantastic. It inspires me to be more bold in my choices!
Thank you for sharing all of the facets of your life.
Merry Christmas!
Sheryl
Such a beautiful home! How do you keep your pets out of trouble with all the decorations?
The older pup knows to stay away, and we don’t let the puppy wander the house unattended!
