My Favorite Things

Hi Sugarplum Favorite Things gift list

one // Tassel Earrings  The quickest and easiest way to jazz up an outfit is with statement earrings…and these are not only light as a feather, but come in every color of the rainbow. I’ve yet to wear them without receiving a complement, too! I’m always either wearing statement earrings, or these hoops.

two // Flannel Pajama Set  Cozy is my middle name (not really, thank goodness, since Cassie Cozy sounds like another profession entirely!), but I do take my loungewear seriously. These flannel pajamas are equally warm and cute, and come in tons of fun holiday patterns. I add a new set every year and love them for Christmas morning (I wear an XS, and they’re still roomy).

three // Coziest Cardigan  Again with the loungewear…you’ll honestly never find a softer or cozier cardigan. I wear this (or the hooded version) literally every night around the house, but it’s also really cute with boots and jeans. It makes a great gift, too…my mom swooned over hers last Christmas.

four // Monogrammed Tote  These monogrammed totes are hands-down my favorite for everyday and travel…it zips closed, has tons of inside pockets, and fits my laptop. It’s fully customizable with 100s of patterns and stripe combinations to choose from, too. (This deer print is another favorite.)

five // Illuminating CC Cream  This magic cream doubles as my foundation and sunscreen, and completely transforms the appearance of my skin! One little pump covers my entire face, smoothing my complexion, evening out the tone, and gives overall brightening. It comes in a non-illuminating formula, too, but at my age, I need all the illumination I can get! #amirightladies

six // Shower Cap  Why yes, that’s a shower cap on my list of Favorite Things!! But this is no ordinary, hotel-grade shower cap! It’s lined in terrycloth, so it whisks all the moisture away from your hair while bathing or showering. Seriously, my hair looks the same before and after, so it really extends the time between washings. It packs well, too, and I take it on every trip.

seven // Sheet Sets  Have you ever been on vacation and slept so well that you stripped the bed the next morning just for the bedding details?! That was me earlier this year! Turns out, we were sleeping like angels on these super affordable sheets. I’ve since ordered them for every bed in our house, and they’re everyone’s favorites. Just look at all those perfect reviews!

eight // Eye Opening Mascara  I could go on and on about this amazing mascara, but instead I’ll just tell you this…the first time I wore it, two people asked me if I got eyelash extensions. It’s that good. (Read my makeup tips for looking younger here.)

nine // Sheer Renewal Cream  I’m a hardcore fan of this skincare line, and over the years, it’s replaced virtually every other product I use. But this is the one I buy in bulk (for fear of running out!). It’s the best day cream I’ve ever tried…so light and absorbs quickly…and makes my skin glow.

ten // Hair Dryer  Another random item, I know. But yes, I adore this hairdryer! So much, in fact, I also have the baby one for travel! It dries my hair in half the time, leaves it smooth and shiny, and is so much quieter than most dryers!

My Wish List this Christmas (Santa, are you listening?!)

Hi Sugarplum Gift Wish List

one  // Fleece Lined Slipper Socks  Fleece lined socks with pom-poms…need I say more?!

two // NeuLash Serum  I’ve been hearing about this lash-enhancing serum for months, and the results are incredible! It’s not exactly cheap, but I know people who swear their lashes are longer and thicker. Sign me up!

three // Monogrammed Crossbody Bag  As much as I love a good sized tote for everyday, I prefer a cross body bag when we’re exploring new places (see all our Travels here). This one is the perfect size for the essentials, leaves me hands-free for all the eating, and I can add a gold monogram!

four // Rose Gold Watch  I’ve worn the same Kate Spade watch for four years (and still love it!), but this two-tone rose gold totally caught my eye. It has a delicate touch to it, and perfect for dressier styles.

five // Compact Camera  I have a fancy DSLR camera (this one), but traveled with it less and less in the past year…it’s just so cumbersome and heavy. And I always worry about packing it. This little pocket camera is a favorite amongst travelers, not just for it’s compact size, but for the stellar photos and wifi capability. The reviews pretty much say it’s impossible to take a bad pic with it! #heysanta

six // Bread Bowl  I’ve wanted one of these oversized wood bowls for years…they’re so pretty styled up for holidays, or just by themselves on a table. I feel like it’s the kind of thing that stays in families for generations.
