Happy Monday, loves, and welcome back to a new week! Mr. SP and I found ourselves without the kids Friday night, so we bolted for the lake. It’s amazing what even one night away does for us!
We’re both incredibly independent people, but our marriage thrives when we’re intentional about alone time together. We spent the weekend working through a long To Do List, but had a ball doing it together. We installed these hooks on the patio, and these hooks on the dock… I love that they’re a touch different than the usual.

I have this little pressure washer and it has worked well for me. I primarily have used it to clean concrete on my driveway and sidewalks. It is light to pick up and carry around.

We have two pressure washers (why??). One is a gas powered “heavy duty” power washer (again, why?) and the other is this little electric model. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Greenworks-1700-PSI-1-2-GPM-Cold-Water-Electric-Pressure-Washer/5001853429
I love our Greenworks electric model. It’s very easy to use and manage. It’s quiet and has sufficient pressure to clean everything I need it to outside but not SO high pressured that it’s immediately peeling the finish of of things. It’s got plenty of power, so you COULD damage surfaces using it (true of any power washer) but if you’re using it properly then it’ll be okay. I like the electric nature as it’s only on/making noise when actively using it. So if I need to pause to move some plants or a chair the machine “pauses” too without a noisy stinky engine continuing to drone in the background. It’s also small and easy to store. My only complaint is I wish the wand were a bit longer. I’m only 5’1″ and I do have to bend over a bit to clean our patio concrete with it. I’m sure I could purchase a longer wand, but haven’t looked into it…so it must not bother me THAT much! 🙂 If you’re looking for something to help keep things clean at the lake it’d be a great option.
