Summer Fun | Games & Activities for Summer Break (all on Prime!)

Hey friends! Welcome back to a new week! I hope you had a wonderful, relaxing weekend. Ours was filled with the final volleyball tournament of the season, and the return of Mr. College!

It’s so great having him home again… I can hardly believe he’s already halfway through college! Doesn’t it seem like just yesterday I was letting him go?! (See my college send-off post HERE.) I know his time at home is short-lived, so that only makes this summer that much sweeter. To make the most of summer, I rounded up some of our favorite games and activities. If you’ve got kids and teens at home, these are perfect for avoiding the inevitable, ‘Mom, I’m booooorrrrrdddddd!’

one. Table Ping Pong Set // Turn any dining table into a ping pong table! This set clamps to the table (we use our breakfast table in the kitchen and the dining table on the patio!) and ensures fun for hours. Almost gets a little too competitive!

two. Corn Hole // An oldie but a goodie, corn hole is the quintessential backyard game! We have this exact set, and it’s portable, light, and under $35! (Psst… makes a good Father’s Day gift, too!)

three. Stomp Rocket // The name says it all… how fun is this! Kids of all ages (and adults!) can enjoy this easy backyard activity. I gifted it to my young nephew, and he loves it!

four. Popcorn Maker // Make movie night an event with a classic popcorn maker. So fun for sleepovers, or just neighborhood hang-outs.

five. Snow Cone Maker // We got a snow cone maker for Little Miss’s birthday party a few years ago (it was a huge hit!), but it’s so quick and simple to use we pull it out all the time! It’s fairly compact, and easy to clean and store. We use these syrups with these pourers, and they taste great and stay fresh in the fridge for ages. I think we need to test out some ‘adult’ snow cones soon!

six. Velcro Catch & Toss // This set of four paddles is a fun twist on playing catch! Use the storage bag to throw it easily into the car to play at the park, or even get a set for the pool to play while cooling off! The velcro makes it almost impossible not to catch, so it’s great for a range of ages.

seven. Tie-Dye Kit // Tie Dye is all the rage right now, and this is a fun activity to get everyone outside. Little Miss and I have tie-dyed these crewnecks before, and they turned out great!

eight. Pool Floats // Fun and quirky pool floats are always a good idea, and kids love climbing and lounging on these.

nine. Stand-Up Sports Net // This portable sports net comes in three sizes, is easily portable, and doesn’t need to be staked down! It’s great for badminton, volleyball, and tennis.

ten. Spike Ball // Have y’all seen this game yet?! Mr. College and his friends LOVE IT! It can be played pretty much anywhere, and will have you breaking a sweat in no time.

eleven. Tiki Toss // The description says it all… “Easy to learn, hard to master!” We discovered this game in Florida a few years ago, and we couldn’t pull ourselves away!! It’s so addictive! All you need is a fence, tree, or wall to affix it and play.

twelve. Sprinkler Splash Pad // Younger kiddos will stay entertained (and then tire out!) with this fun sprinkler playpad! Just hook it up to your garden hose, and get in the shade while the kids have some fun!

thirteen. Projector // Backyard movie night! You can project TV shows and movies from your smart device onto the included screen. What a fun way to enjoy your patio!

fourteen. Paddle Board // We cannot wait to use this at the Sugar Shack this summer! It’s inflatable, with all accessories and a transport bag included.

What games and activities are popular for your kids and family? I love pretty much anything that gets them outside and moving!
