I loved every second of 2017 (okay, there were a few rough patchesโฆso almost every second), and one of the biggest reasons was because of all the travel opportunities. Between blogger conferences, brand relationships, and family vacations, I packed my bag quite a few times last year!
My grandparents were avid travelers, so I learned early-on that the world is as accessible as youโre willing to be. One of the reasons Mr. SP and I work so hard is for the chance to travel, alone and as a family. Even in our early years when we lived on peanuts, we still found ways to explore. (I honed my budget-travel skills then!)
These were the most popular Trip Reports of last year, and hopefully a good resource for those of you thinking of packing your bags somewhere fun in 2018. Click the link below each pic for the full recap, including where we stayed and ate, what we did, and outfits I packed!

And if you’re looking for packing tips, you can find my video on using eBags here, along with my Top 10 Travel VIPs here, and what I packed for a weekend girls trip here! And if NYC is on your agenda, find all my posts on the great city here.
Sharing our travel experiences and tips with you has become one of the most gratifying aspects of this blog. I love hearing how these Trip Reports helped with planning your own travels, and hope to continue making them a resource for you. I know how hard it is to save and get away, so I work very hard to make them honest, authentic, and helpful, using only my own experiences.
Is there anything youโd like to see added to the Travel posts? Do you have travel plans for this year? We’re headed somewhere warm this weekend, and I can hardly wait! See you back here tomorrow with Best of Decor!
