What I’m Packing for Exuma, Bahamas

Happy Tuesday from the Bahamas, friends! We’re here for Spring Break, and I’m one happy mama to have all my people together for the week! With the kids working and in school, I know opportunities like this are rare, so I’m soaking it up.

We’re staying in the coolest house, and have a fun week of beach-hopping, boat excursions, and non-stop conch fritters on the agenda. I’m sharing it on my Instagram HERE, and will be sure to follow up with the full Trip Report for you here, too. You can check out my Travel page HERE if you’re looking for more fun trip ideas.

Of course I turned to Amazon for fun styles to pack… here’s a peek at what I ordered. And be sure to follow HERE to see the outfits come to life!

I love this brand of swim, but this one-piece has to be one of my faves yet. It’s the softest material, and the fit is incredibly flattering! I sized up to a Small.

I have this strapless top in pink and I love it so much, I grabbed it in this pretty blue shade… and it’s so cute with this printed maxi skirt! (See the pink outfit HERE.)

This dress is an absolute 10/10… so beautiful in person! It’s a smooth satin, with adjustable straps.

Spaghetti Strap Dress | Toe Strap Sandals | Sunglasses | Crochet Bucket Bag | Shop All HERE

This set was perfect for warm-weather travel… lightweight and ribbed, plus bra-friendly.

Sweater | Wide Leg Pants | Sleeveless Top | Sling Bag | Sunglasses | Shop All HERE

Another darling combo with the strapless top, but sadly this one didn’t arrive in time. But you can be sure I’ll be wearing it soon! (I did, however, pack the charm necklace and it’s too cute for words!)

Tube Top | Leaf Print Skirt | Slide Sandals | Charm Necklace | Handled Tote Bag

This dress was a surprise find and so beautiful in person! It’s fully lined, with a fun asymmetrical hem. I also ordered this bold shell necklace, and I’m kind of obsessed!

Skincare //

My skincare and makeup routines definitely get down-sized, and I pack just the essentials to keep my skin clean and hydrated. We do have TSA PreCheck, which allows me to keep all the liquids (under 4 oz.) in my bag, but I do keep my Toiletries Case in the Duffel Bag for easy removal if needed.

Illuminating Eye Creamย |ย Mini Radiant Cleansing Balmย |ย Vitamin C Brightening Serumย |ย Intense Hydrating Maskย |ย Sheer Renewal Creamย |ย Quench & Shine Restorative Hair Maskย (Mini Size Includedย HERE) |ย Micro-Mineral Resurfacing Scrubย | Shop All HERE //ย Codeย SUGARPLUM20ย for 20% off site-wide!

Travel Essentials //

These are the essentials that come with me on most every trip… plus this Toiletries Case that I recently added to the mix, and LOVE! The Curling Iron is dual-voltage, which means it works in other countries with just a plug adaptor!

I recently swapped to the Beis Carry-On, and have been so impressed with it! The wheels are so sturdy and roll unbelievably smoothly, and it has maximum internal packing space. Dare I say it’s surpassed the Calpak?! Although, nothing beats the Luka Duffel for the personal carry-on!

1. Curling Iron // 2. Kindle Paperwhite
3. Charging Cord Organizer // 4. Pill Case
5. Outlet Adapter // 6. Travel Steamer
7. Zippered Makeup Brush Case // 8. Foldable Vanity Mirror
9. Clear Zipper Pouches // 10. Hat Clip
11. Toiletry Bottles // 12. Noise Machine
13. Packing Cubes // 14. Carry-On Duffel Bag
15. Luggage Scale // 16. Rolling Spinner Suitcase

Do you have any Spring Break plans? As the kids grow into adulthood, I know these trips will become more rare, which makes this one that much more special. But I’m thinking as long as we keep planning (and paying!!) for trips, they’ll keep coming, ha! Follow the fun HERE, and happy Spring Break, lovebugs!

Beautiful island it appears! Question – I keep hearing about random power outages of anything from 2 hours to 2 days on Exuma. They are mentioned in the groups’ FB pages and also if you Google. Did you experience that when you were there??

Hi Tricia! We’ve only experienced it once, but the house we were staying in had a generator. It was also short-lived! xo, C
