It’s a happy day around the Sugarplum Casa… our Little Miss is 15! I suppose it’s time for a new nickname since she’s not so little anymore! She’s actually close to catching, and probably passing, me! Something she likes to remind me of daily, ha!
She was a precious and precocious 4-year-old when I started this blog, so some of you have literally watched her grow up! It’s equal parts thrilling and devastating to see your kids grow in to young adults. I miss those squishy babes that let you snuggle them, but love watching her find her own wings, too.
Our local DMV is booked solid for months, so we’re driving to a county over an hour away today so she can get her official Driver’s Permit. She didn’t want to wait a single day past her birthday for it! Lord help me if she asks to drive home after, ha! (In Texas, 15-year-olds can get a permit that allows them to drive only with their guardians.)
Today I’ve got a fun post for you, chock full of some darling new spring finds! I’m doing a little refresh for the season around the house, and adding things to the Sugar Shack, and can’t believe my good luck on Prime with these things!
one. Rattan Mirror // Can you even with this mirror?!? Great large size for over a console or in an entry, and the price is unbelievable! It’s currently 50% off!
two. Faux Plants // Hi, I’m Cassie, and I am addicted to faux ferns. But seriously, this find is exactly what you need if you want pretty plants in your house without the hassle of keeping them alive. They come in a 2-pack with a heavy cement pot.
three. Hanging Wall Baskets // These wall baskets make such a great statement when hung inside or out, and are a fraction of the price of the popular ones we’ve seen all over. I love them on a patio wall, or over a bed.
four. Boxwood Wreath // Can’t stop, won’t stop with this gorgeous boxwood wreath! I’ve had mine for well over a year, and it still looks as good as the day I took it out of its box! Aside from Fall and Christmas, it hangs on my front door year-round.
five. Seaglass Garland // I love anything that reminds me of the sea, and these pretty beads are made of recycled sea glass! (I shared them in a recent Monday Mail Day). I’ve got them draped over a stack of books, but the options are endless.
six. Woven Planter // This planter looks like a pricey woven option, but it’s ceramic! Add this to cart ASAP before they sell out!
seven. Set of Old Fashioned Glasses // Aren’t these beautiful?! I’m thinking that I need to grab a set for the lake house… I’m envisioning an Arnold Palmer in my glass, feet up, and a good book!
eight. Ficus Branches // You’ve seen these branches on repeat since I’ve had them all over the house (see them HERE). They have a great natural look, and are easily bent into the shape and fullness you need. I especially love them in this vase. Grab two sets for a fuller effect!
nine. Door Mat // The easiest (most affordable) porch update is always a new door mat! I love the simplicity and font of this one, and just ordered this one for the Sugar Shack.
ten. Woven Basket // We always need a cute way to store the everyday essentials, right?! This basket (with a lid!) would look great on an entryway table or in your ‘family command center’ to house keys, chargers, sunglasses… all the things that you’re constantly looking for! I grabbed it to hold remotes on the coffee table.
eleven. Tassel Throw Blanket // All the bedding in the Sugar Shack is white (see them HERE), so I needed a little pop of color to drape over the ends. I just discovered these herringbone throws, and have already ordered two…in green and blue. I’ll be sure to report back as soon as they arrive, but the reviews have me excited!
twelve. Pillow Cover Trio // Another simple refresh is throw pillows for your sofa and chairs, and this trio makes it easy! Just don’t forget the inserts… these are my faves. (Sugarplum Tip: Order your inserts a size larger than the covers for a fuller, custom look.)

15! What happened! So special. Find the safe areas and open parking lots to practice driving/parking in. We have quiet, one way, winding drives through forests here, great for a kid to learn from. Good luck, baby steps. And Happy Birthday, LM!
