Happy almost-Friday, friends! Who’s counting down the moments until the weekend?! I know I am! I absolutely love Summer weekends… with the kids home and no school or pressures, everyone is relaxed and happy, it’s bliss!
Today I’m excited for another post in my Summer of Style series, this one featuring some of the cutest summer pieces for days by the water! We’re obviously spending lots of time at the Sugar Shack, where you’ll almost-always find me in either a swimsuit or some sort of comfy loungewear!
And no surprise Backcountry has some of the cutest and comfiest styles for summer!
You know I love Backcountry for all our outdoor gear and active wear for adventures, but did you know they also carry a great assortment of stylish pieces likes dresses, tops, and coverups?
I found this romper-style cover-up and was instantly smitten. The gauzy cotton is so soft and light, and is adorable thrown over a swimsuit. The white one is a touch sheer, but the black one would work by the pool or around town.
Fit Tip: I sized up to a small for a relaxed fit over swimwear
I love the shirt-style fit of the top, with a relaxed short on bottom. It’s a good length for feeling covered, but not dowdy. I keep the buttons a little more open for a touch of sass.
You know I adore my Havaianas flip-flops, and have worn them exclusively for years. Well, they may have met their match with Reef!
These have a curved footbed that provides a some support and cushion, making them extremely comfortable. And the nude faux-leather makes them feel a bit dressier. I don’t think I’ve slipped these off my feet since I got them… I’m even wearing them more than my beloved Miller sandals!
This cotton knit dress is not only cute and flirty, but super comfortable and easy to wear. Throw it on with flip-flops or sandals, take it out to lunch or by the pool, it’s so versatile. It’s made of the softest organic cotton you’ll want to live in all summer!
Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small
It packs a lot of style in one not-so-basic dress… with a criss cross back and flattering faux-wrap bustline.
You know the Yeti Koozie is seeing all kinds of action this summer, too! I love that it perfectly holds the tall cans, and keeps them icy cold for hours! Backcountry has a great assortment of Yeti products, including this compact cooler we gifted Mr. SP for Father’s Day (his fave gift!).
Backcountry’s big Fourth of July sale starts tomorrow, too, with up to 50% off! Their most popular brands are always included for major savings!
And don’t forget, if you’re a first time Backcountry shopper, use code SUGARPLUM15 to save 15% off full-priced items on your first purchase (some exclusions apply)! Not only do they have everything you need for your outdoor adventures this Summer, but the pieces to keep you stylish, too!
