Happy Friday, friends, and cheers to the weekend! If you follow my Instagram/Facebook story, then you know we’ve had an eventful week. Not to mention, a dusty one!
Not only did we launch the Summer of Fun Collection, but we moved out of our house and started the major repairs from February’s winter storm! It’s taken a full week, with a mountain of dust and debris, but the warped and buckled floors are now up.
Along the way, we discovered mold in several spots, resulting in more projects and changes. Sadly we’re losing the wallpaper in the Dining Room, but I’m finally feeling more excited than overwhelmed by the updates. (I’ve been sharing them in Stories every day, you can catch them HERE.)
We’ve spent the week shuttling between a local hotel and the lake house, depending on obligations here in town. So you can bet I’m looking forward to a few unplugged days at the Sugar Shack this weekend!
And can you believe it’s almost the Fourth of July? We’re celebrating both the holiday and our son’s 20th birthday (#gulp) next weekend, so I’ve been on the hunt for some cute red, white, and blue styles, and I hit the jackpot! And it’s all under $50!

So sorry to hear about the mold and losing that wallpaper! That was one of the first posts I read when I found your blog ages ago! I was decorating my living room, and your dining and living rooms really inspired me. I love a colorful room!
