Happy Christmas week, loves! Our school break officially starts today, and I’m hoping to wrap up the final loose ends so we can relax and really soak in the spirit of the season. The days before Christmas are actually my favorite… the excitement and anticipation are so fun!
Our week is usually filled with lots of different family get-togethers, trips to the Symphony, and fancy dinners out, but this year we have new plans. It’s disappointing in a lot of ways, but there’s also something really sweet about having the time with just our family of four. And who knows, maybe some of our plans will become new traditions!
Today I’m wrapping up my final gift guide of the season, for all of us last-minute shoppers or those who need just a few more things. (Find all of my holiday gift guides of 2020Â HERE.)
Fleece Lined Hooded Sweatshirt | Soft Pocket Lounge Leggings | Similar Beanie
I’m 90% done with my shopping, but only 1% done with the wrapping! Fortunately, Nordstrom has gift wrap options, so many of my gifts have already been boxed!

Santa could put pretty much anything from Zella in my stocking and I’d be happy! They’ve really upped their game this season, with the coziest pullovers and hoodies, plus comfy leggings for lounging at home.
These lounge joggers have become a regular wear for me… they’re like a cross between leggings and joggers, so they’re super comfy, but also stylish. They just added a bunch of new color options, too!
Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XXS in the hoodie (runs large!) and XS lounge jogger.

Hi Cassie. Thanks so much for your festive and always informative posts in what is otherwise such a weird holiday season. I’ve got kids the same age as yours and I’m trying to find some safe and fun ways for us to celebrate the season absent our usual holiday go-tos. Would love to see a post on what you guys are doing.
Hi Jen! This year is definitely not our norm, that’s for sure! I won’t have a post dedicated to this, but we’ll just be spending Christmas Eve at home and then probably doing a “drive by” at the grandparents’ houses! Not much help here! xo,C
I love your hallway tree. Where did you get the beaded garland? I LOVE it.
Hi Ali! The ornaments and accessories for that tree have been collected over time from HomeGoods, Target, World Market, & Michaels! xo, C
We’re to stay to our household bubble so that means no family or friends this year. I’ll miss hosting. For Christmas Eve, I’m doing up a selection of our favourite appetizers that we’ll snack from 4:00 on ( instead of a sit down meal). Just to change things up and make it feel more festive.
Hi Joanna! Yep, I think we’re thinking about doing the exact same thing! <3 Cassie
