Men’s Gift Guide (According to Mr. SP!)

Happy Friday, lovebugs, and cheers to the weekend! We’re welcoming Mr. College back home for a week, then he’s back to school for finals week. This year is certainly teaching me to loosen my grip and go with the flow a little more.

Y’all loved the Teen Gift Guides earlier this week (see those HERE), and today I’m excited to not only share the muchrequested Men’s Gift Guide, but welcome Mr. Sugarplum to the blog! I asked him to choose his favorite gifts that most any guy would love, and he jumped right in! Many of them he owns and loves already, and I’m guessing the rest are hints for me!

Men’s Gift Guide //

one. Neck Massager // Cass gifted me this massager four years ago and it’s still a nightly battle of who gets to use it first! It really works out tight spots in your back and neck, with both heat and intense massage. The cord is also long, so it’s easy to move around the room.

two. Toiletries Bag // I like the simplicity and price of this toiletries bag. I used to use it for travel, but for now I store all my bathroom stuff in it so I can keep my side of the bathroom clean for a certain someone!

three. Spices Set // I fire up the grill at least once a week, and I’d love to see these spices in my stocking this year. Cass would probably pair it with a punny apron like this one, and this gift is set!

four. Face Oil // I included this oil on last year’s list, too, it’s that good! It’s the first face product that I’ll actually use consistently… it’s lightweight and has a subtle smell, and leaves my skin feeling hydrated, but not oily. I can honestly see a difference in the lines around my eyes when I use this.

five. Beanie // Like father, like son! I think this hat made it on the Teen Gift Guide earlier this week. That just means it really is the perfect gift for any dude.

six. Filtered Water Bottle // This is my go-to water bottle! It’s a great size and weight, but even better, it has a built-in filter for refilling anywhere! It goes in the dishwasher and is pretty indestructible.

seven. National Parks Book // This book looks awesome! I went on an epic backpacking trip earlier this year, and I can’t wait to explore more Parks soon.

eight. Personalized Golf Tees // Cass gave me these a couple of years ago, and I just used the last one! #hint I won’t tell you what she had engraved, but it makes me smile every time I play. My friends give me crap about them, but admitted they’re a thoughtful gift.

nine. Golf Net // I snagged one of these earlier this Spring, and it’s been a life-saver! I have it hung in the backyard, and use it for mini-breaks throughout the day. It’s easy to assemble, and the net is sturdy enough to keep your balls off your neighbor’s roof.

ten. Custom Pet Socks // Cassie actually showed me these (she’s getting them for the kids), and I’ll admit they’re pretty fun! Maybe I’ll get her some with my face, ha! Great stocking stuffer, White Elephant, or Secret Santa gift!

eleven. Puffer Vest // This Patagonia is no surprise, I’ve worn it several times a week for the last few years! It’s warm, but not bulky, and has a good fit. I can even layer it over collared shirts for a dressier look when needed.

twelve. Sherpa Boots // These boots are on my wish list this year… I love the style, plus they’re warm and waterproof!

Okay, I’m laughing so hard… if you know Mr. SP, then you know this is so him! Except he left out all the ‘dudes’ and ‘bros’! (He’s a Californian.) I love his gift ideas, and hope they help you when shopping for the guys in your life!

I think I’ll add these to his stocking (as recommended by my son!) since the man can never find his stuff! And I’ve said it 100 times, but this backpack is a guaranteed great gift.

Are you done with your shopping? What other guides can I help with? Happy weekend, lovebugs!

I got Tiles for my husband for Father’s Day because after 36 years of him constantly looking for keys, wallet, and of course phone, I gave up trying to get him to use some sort of landing place! The Tiles are awesome!! And I don’t have to help him look anymore—yay!

Very funny! C-you do the visuals and let Mr. SP do the writing, ha,ha! Cool stuff!
About the Nat. Parks book. Very helpful, indeed. Maybe good for the parks, but many of them are getting overrun. : ( I read in outside magazine that all the very special, used to be hidden natural hot springs are getting ruined by too many people. They are starting to be fenced in. : (

On a lighter note, yes on the down vests! Wear them around the house, SPs. They don’t attract pet hair! Ha,ha. : ))

That is so sad about the Parks, I didn’t know that! And I never thought about those vests not attracting pet hair, but you’re absolutely right!!! – Cassie
