Happy Monday, friends, and welcome back! I hope the past week has treated you well. With all that’s happening in our country, I needed to take a step back, and give others with bigger voices the space to share and teach.
It was a heavy week of sadness, uncertainty, and anger, but also days of learning, listening, and challenging ourselves. We’ve had a lot of big conversations in our house, and my eyes have been opened to hardships I hadn’t looked outside my bubble to see. It’s beautiful to see people coming together and inciting change, and I’m hopeful we can be better and do better moving forward.
I’ve been sharing some of the resources I’ve found helpful on my Instagram Story (find those HERE), and will continue to champion equality, along with kind people and businesses of all colors and genders. I’ve learned there is a significant difference between being not racist, and anti-racism, and am working to be a better advocate in my community, at home, and in my business.
