Teen Gift Guides (Created by Actual Teens!)

Happy Friday, friends, and cheers to the weekend! We’ve got another full day of shooting the next Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Collection today, and fortunately the weather is cooperating.

These pieces have been months in the making, but seeing them finished and fully-styled has me bursting with excitement to show you! I cannot wait for you to see what we’ve created this time! Details coming early next year, so stay tuned.

We’re continuing the gift guide fun today with my two of my favorite people sharing their top picks… the Sugarplum Teens! I asked my kids to choose their favorite gift ideas for kids their age… the pieces that they and their friends are loving this year. They assured me that finding any of these items under the tree would be amazing!

Teen Girl Gift Guide

one // Turntable with Classic Records here & here  // This is a fun way to listen to music, and the records are fun to collect! It also looks cute in my room.

two // Apple AirPods Pro // These headphones pack well and stay in my ears without hurting. It’s nice to not have a cord in the way, too! (Plus, they make you look cool) 😉

three // Leggings // I love to be comfortable during the day, and these leggings are SO soft and stretchy! NO CHAFFING!! This is THE brand to have. But they’re kind of expensive, so I love my Zella leggings too.

four // Crocs Shoes with Gibits // I love to wear these shoes with any comfy outfit! It’s fun to add your own personalized charms, and there’s tons to choose from.

five // Ankle Booties // These boots are super cute and stylish! Of course they are comfy too. They make me feel grown up, but aren’t too high to walk in. I wear them with my jeans and skirts.

six // Vanity Mirror // This is the brightest mirror I’ve ever used! I 100% recommend this to all the beauty junkies out there!

seven // Backpack // I like walking into school feeling confident, and with this backpack you can (the brand is super popular)! There’s also tons of colors to choose from!

eight // Light Ropes // Every teen has that one day where all they want is to relax in there room, am I right? Or am I right? You can put these lights wherever you want and they will give your room a bunch of pizzazz! I have my ceiling lined with them and love how I can change the color to fit my vibe.

nine // Hydro Flask Water Bottle // When I say this is the best water bottle I have ever used, I mean it!!! This water bottle will keep any drink cold for days! I love to use it for everyday use and when I play in volleyball tournaments because I know I won’t have to worry about drinking nasty hot gym water! 😉

ten // Fleece Pullover // This is the softest pullover ever! It keeps you warm in any weather but is also cute with any outfit! Plus, the brand is cool.

eleven // Delicate Necklace // These necklaces are so pretty! They add a little sparkle and color to your outfit, and feel fancy.

twelve // Scrunchies // I love these scrunchies!! They look super cute to wear on your wrist or in your hair! With a bunch of colors to choose from, you can wear them with an outfit!

Teen Guys Gift Guide

one // Hooded Puffer Jacket // Norman, OK is freezing cold, so this jacket has been coming in handy walking to class. I like that it has a hood and pockets, and isn’t bulky.

two // Backpack // I wanted to upgrade my backpack for college, and I like that this one kind of looks like a satchel with the front straps. It has all the compartments I need for laptop, books and more, and it’s cool that not too many other kids have it!

three // Beanie // I wear a hat almost every day… ball caps in summer and beanies in winter. This is a cool design, and super warm, too.

four // Hoodie Sweatshirt // I’m wearing this hoodie now… definitely my favorite of the batch (I’m kind of a hoodie addict!). It’s super thick and warm, with a cool design. It goes with joggers and jeans, and can look kind of dressed up when I want.

five // Sneakers // I’m logging over 10,000 steps a day walking around campus, so I have to have comfortable shoes. These feel great, but are also cool. The streamlined design looks good with jeans and joggers.

six // Ultra Boost Running Shoes // These are actually on my Christmas list this year… I love the style, and they’re mad comfortable!

seven // Bose Headphones // It’s all about the wireless headphones… these have great sound and are comfortable on my ears. They fold up in my backpack, or I can wear them higher on my head when not in use.

eight // Boxer Briefs // Kind of weird to have underwear on my list, but these really are the best ones. Now that I’m doing laundry in the basement of the dorm, I’m asking for more pairs this Christmas! Good stocking stuffer for sure.

nine // Bluetooth Speaker // This portable speaker is a good size and shape (easy to stick in my backpack), but blasts incredible sound. It comes in cool colors, too.

ten // Nalgene Water Bottle // We have water refill stations all over campus, so I keep my water bottle with me all the time. These things can take a beating, too… I’ve had mine for years.

eleven // Gaming Headphones // Every guy plays video games, and these gaming headphones are the best.

twelve // Duffle Bag // This bag is super sturdy, and perfect for weekend trips home, camping with my friends, or just hauling stuff I need around campus.

Oh my gosh… these were so fun! I loved hearing their thoughts behind each gift, and seeing their thoughtful selections. I can tell they really took the task seriously!
