February already, really?? Didn’t we just put the Christmas tree away last week? Some weeks days it seems I’m doing nothing but running around like a crazy-lady, or playing catch-up, so it’s nice to take a moment each month and look back at the projects and content I managed to create.
We hit the new year running, and I didn’t get a chance to re-cap December, so this is a double-whammy. Just in case you’ve been hibernating, here are the top posts from the last few months.
We also had another round of Sugarplum Style, and everyone’s favorites, Look for Less and Dressing Room Diaries. All of which now have nifty little graphics in the sidebar, so you can catch up on them anytime.
(Sidenote: I updated my Sugarplum Picks to reflect what I’m loving and wearing these days. You can check it out anytime using the shopping bag graphic in the sidebar.)
February is already in full swing with a big organizing project with my darling friend Jen, Valentine’s Day, a new style series, plus packing our bags for a fun, last-minute trip! Thank you so much for stopping by when you do…your support and comments mean the world to me!
If you’re new around here, or just playing catch-up, here are some good places to start:
I really love your blog.. But don't dup the readers and say "We hit the new year running, and I didn't get a chance to re-cap December"…look back on your posts.. It's a constant replay of a lot of your posts as well as instagram and Facebook. Please don't take it the wrong way. Just some constructive feedback. It seems the same looks very very much on repeat. Still love ya!!– Terry Jo
Thanks for the comment, TJ! With almost 6 years of content here, the monthly recaps make it easier for readers to keep up and reference, especially since not everyone follows on Instagram, Facebook and blog! I've been doing them monthly for years, but inadvertently overlooked December…hence the double-up! Happy hump day! xo C.
Running around like a crazy lady or playing catch up…YES. I feel like that's me. All of the time. Sigh. I'm not complaining, though…too blessed for that…just sayin'. 🙂 Your blog is such a happy place to visit. I thoroughly enjoy popping in to see what Cassie is up to. And I LOVED your keepin'-it-real post. Humility is refreshing in blog land, so THANK YOU. Here's to another fabulous month! 🙂
With your inspiration, I have recently bought two blanket scarves however……I look like the scarf is eating my head, they are so big! I like to think that I am pretty handy at tying scarves but I cannot figure this one out….any chance on a photo tutorial soon so that I can make this look cute/not look like I'm being attacked by a plaid monster? 🙂
Haha! Yes, some of them are definitely overwhelming! I fold mine in half on the diagonal, and roll them up starting on the wide end. That helps with the volume! xo
I absolutely loved your being real post. I was nodding in agreement the entire time I read. Thank you for that!! And I'm a sucker for plaid and fur!
Whew! Dang, girl! You've had a busy year (in the best way)!!!!! Can't wait to see what 2016 holds!
Well that was a whirlwind tour around your blog. I enjoyed every minute of it. Great variety.
