Sephora Haul | New Finds of August + a Discount Code!

Happy Monday, lovebugs, and welcome back to a new week! We moved Mr. College back to campus this weekend, and I did surprisingly well. Of course I came home and ate a full-size bag of Trader Joe’s kettle popcorn and slept 11 hours, so there’s obviously some deep-rooted emotion somewhere, ha!

But seeing him back amongst his peers, and the joy on all their faces, put me at ease. It’s clearly where he needs to be, and I’ll just pray for them to stay safe and smart!

Today I’m excited to share my latest Sephora Haul! Beauty, hair, and wellness have become popular topics here on Hi Sugarplum in the last year, and I’m thrilled you love chatting it up as much as me. I tend to stay extremely loyal to a product once I’ve fallen in love, but part of my job here is to find and share the latest and greatest… in both style and beauty.

So by popular request, Sephora Hauls have become a monthly series around here (see them all HERE), and I’m back this month with more… here’s the best of my Sephora finds lately.

And if you’re a beauty junkie like me, make sure you’re a Sephora Beauty Insider… they offer exclusive deals and sales, along with bonus samples, rewards, and points with every purchase! Right now they’re offering $15 off $75 and $20 off $100 for all Beauty Insiders with code WELCOMEBACK! Sign-up is fast and free HERE! (Code is one-time use online, and unlimited in store. Promo ends August 23, details HERE.)

Sidenote: I tried these products several times before sharing with you, so these aren’t just first impressions!

Olaplex No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment Kit //

Honestly, I didn’t even read the description on this new product before adding to cart! I’m such a hardcore fan of Olaplex, I’ll try any and everything they put out.

And this new Olaplex No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment Kit lives up to the brand’s reputation! This at-home treatment contains the highest concentration of the patented bond building technology of any Olaplex product, which relinks the broken bonds caused by chemical, thermal, and mechanical damage. Truly a salon-level treatment, but in the convenience of your own home!

Apply it first to dry hair, saturating from root to tip, and let sit for 10 minutes. I found it easier to apply in small sections, and with a spray bottle. Follow with the No. 3 Hair Perfector (deluxe sample included in the Treatment Kit), comb it through, and let process for 10 minutes. Follow with shampoo and conditioner (you know I use the Olaplex No. 4 Shampoo and No. 5 Conditioner!), and style as usual. What’s left, even after a single treatment, is silky-smooth and shiny hair. Even on bleached and processed hair!

This formula is made to work with every hair type, providing real, structural repair that works from within, and is verified as ‘Clean Beauty’ at Sephora.

The Bubble Mask //

Y’all know Little Miss is the true Sephora Junkie in our house, and she loves nothing more than an at-home spa night! Our last one was full-service…starting with the Olaplex No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment Kit, then manicures, and ending with this fun Sephora Bubble Mask.

This sheet mask is infused with spirulina to detoxify, oxygenate, and fight against pollutants, but also bubbles and foams once in contact with the skin. It was fun, and a little kookie, with the tiny bubbles tickling our skin.

It clears up deep blemish spots, and is super hydrating…which is much-needed after wearing a mask all day!

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder //

I’m not really big on setting powder, or powders in general, when it comes to my face, but rather prefer a more dewy finish. But when it’s 105-degrees out, we go way past dewy!! And don’t get me started on the lip sweat, thanks to face masks!

This Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder has been a face-saver! I swipe a little in the center of my forehead, and the lightweight formula not only helps to block excess oils, but adds an airbrush finish! I apply a little to my chin and upper lip too, and that’s helped with the added moisture brought on by wearing a mask

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask //

This product isn’t new around here…in fact, it made my 2019 list of Sugarplum Faves! I wear Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask day and night, and banished chapped lips forever. Enriched with vitamin C and antioxidants, the exclusive Moisture Wrap™ technology boasts hyaluronic acid and minerals to form a protective film over the lips to lock in moisture.

I layer it on every night, and it’s so thick and hydrating, remnants of the product remain the next morning. It’s great as a light gloss over lipstick for day, too. I just ordered a new pot, and noticed it now comes in a slew of new flavors. I’m an original girl, but Little Miss is all over the ‘sweet candy.’

PS…this makes a great little pick-me-up gift! I’ve given it to everyone from my hair stylist to girlfriends.

Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Peel //

I love the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Peel, and use it about once a week for a powerful at-home facial. It’s chock-full of glycolic, salicylic and lactic acids to visibly reduce signs of aging and encourage natural cell turnover.

It’s especially powerful when used after dermaplaning (see my how-to HERE)! It’s a two-step professional level peel that leaves my skin glowing…I’m actually hooked on the feeling of it.

But you’ve heard me rave about it before, the reason I bring it back up today is I just realized that Sephora actually has a huge selection of Mini-sized products in every category from makeup to hair to body. Even fragrance! Which means, there’s a huge assortment of best-selling products available in affordable small sizes, just perfect for testing. A great way to try new things without the investment of a full-size. Find them all HERE.

Cinema Secrets Makeup Brush Cleaner //

I’ll let you in on a little secret….I’m terrible about washing my makeup brushes! I know how important it is to keep them clean and free of bacteria…but washing them with soap and water is such a production, and seems to take days to fully-dry. So I always put it off…until now!

Cinema Secrets Makeup Brush Cleaner is so fast and easy, and leaves my brushes absolutely spotless! Simply spray or dip the bristles, then swirl the brush around on a paper towel until clean. The solution instantly melts away all traces of creams, pigments, and waxes from synthetic and natural bristles, with no need for rinsing. And dries almost immediately! Truly magic!

Okay, that’s it for this month’s Sephora Haul! Are any of these products already on your must-have list? What do you love that I should try next? Did you know about that huge selection of Mini’s?!

Don’t forget, all Beauty Insiders save $15 off $75 and $25 off $100 with code WELCOMEBACK!! Offer ends August 23. Find all my Sephora Hauls HERE.

*Photos by me. This post is created in collaboration with Sephora and ShopStyle, but all product selections, reviews, and the search for shiny hair is mine. Thank you for supporting Hi Sugarplum sponsors!*

Hi Cassie! Your tips for just about anything are so incredibly useful to me. I just love your blog! For the peel you only use it as a once a week treatment? I see it says twice a day on the ‘how to use’ description but wanted to get clarification on how you use it and find it effective. Thank you!

Thanks so much, Amanda! I use the peel a couple of times a week…you could use them daily, but they’re a little pricey, so I spread them out! 😉

Thank you! Yes, there’s expense but I have super sensitive skin which is the primary concern.
I’m going to give it a go! 🙂 Thank you so much!

Thanks so much, Natalie! Absolutely…No 3 can be used on it’s own, and followed with any shampoo and conditioner!
