NSale | What I Actually Bought

Happy Friday, friends, and welcome to the weekend! We arrived home yesterday and are battling some serious jet lag… so the weekend comes at the perfect time. If you need me, I’ll be nursing iced coffee and tackling the laundry all day!

We had the best time, and knowing our family vacations are limited now that everyone is older, I savored every second! I’ve got a gajillion photos on my phone, so once I get those sorted I’ll have a full Trip Report for you.

In other news, this marks the final weekend of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! After Sunday, the prices will go to full-price, so if you’ve had your eye on something, now is your last chance to grab it up to 40% off.

I use it mostly as the chance to stock up on my go-to products, and replace my tired closet staples. Today I’m sharing the pieces I actually shopped and took home with me! You’ll recognize many from my Sugarplum Faves list, but a few were fun, new finds.

My NSale Home Buys //

No surprise here, but I grabbed two more of my favorite throws for the lake house! They are insanely soft, with the cutest tassel trim. It comes in a ton of colors, launders well, and is a great price during the NSale. They make perfect gifts, too!

My NSale Fashion Buys //

White tees have a limited shelf life around here, so I always take advantage of the special NSale pricing to refresh my favorite scoopneck tees. They’re made of the softest fabric, are a great length, and are only $11!

Fit Tip: It’s TTS, so choose based on how you prefer your tees to fit. I’m wearing a Small.

The denim was really good in this year’s NSale, and I found several great styles with a flattering and comfortable fit.

These are the two styles I loved most, and will be wearing on repeat once the weather cooperates. And if you’re looking for stylish street sneakers, this classic pair is perfect for jeans, dresses and skirts, and are really comfy!

Fit Tip: The jeans are true to size, I’m wearing a 26 in the Mother and 2 in the Kut from the Kloth.

Barefoot Dreams is hard to resist when it’s 40% off, and this year I grabbed this new style with a draped collar and longer length. It’s the coziest, most luxurious hug every time I put it on. It also makes the absolute best gift!

Fit Tip: I wear an XS/S.

Mama Sugarplum goes straight for these pajamas every year, and I couldn’t resist the cute shorts style in the fun pink leopard!

As for activewear, this pullover was hands-down my favorite… followed by these ca-uuuute Adidas sneaks!

I don’t usually keep sweaters this early in the season, but I did hold on to this softer-than-soft crewneck because I’m so smitten with the color, and I know I’ll wear it on repeat this fall.

My NSale Shoe Buys //

Nordstrom really knocked it out of the park in the shoe department this year! I basically refreshed every major shoe category in my closet, and kept all these… ooops!

Fit Tip: All are true to size except the Adidas, which I sized down half.

These sneakers were my favorite surprise find… so beyond cute and comfy, and I adore the colors for Fall!

And these plaid slides are surprisingly neutral… and the cutest pop of pattern and texture for basic outfits.

Fit Tip: Sweater runs large, I sized down to XXS. Jeans run a little big, I sized down to a 0.

My NSale Beauty Buys //

Besides shoes, beauty was my other favorite category in this year’s NSale. I stocked up on several favorites I use and reach for daily, and was especially excited to see my favorite summer face sunscreen included! This gives the best beachy glow… I wear it alone, or mixed with foundation or tinted moisturizer.

These products are long-time faves, so I grabbed refills while they were on sale. The only new beauty product I added was the NeuBrow Serum… Mama SP swears by it, and I know the NeuLash works… so I’m going to give this a consistent try!

Outside of the closet staples and beauty restocks, I did splurge on two very unexpected finds… and I couldn’t be happier about them! First up, this Barefoot Dreams set! It’s truly like being wrapped in a heavenly hug. Think about it, head-to-toe Barefoot Dreams goodness, in a chic lounge set!

I’m also a huge fan of Farm Rio, so I couldn’t resist this darling style while it was on a rare sale! I’ve already worn it a handful of times, as both a set and as separates. I even wore the skirt over a swimsuit in Hawaii this week. Major score!
