Melts My Butter VII

Happy Friday!!! Thank you guys for such a great week…your sweet comments, tweets and emails about our HGTV Magazine mention just made the whole thing so much sweeter! Thank you for sharing it with me.

It’s been awhile since I’ve rounded up What Really Melts My Butter (I’m Southern, it’s a requirement to use Steel Magnolia references whenever possible). I pretend I’m showing these for you, but really it’s my own selfish bookmarking system. This is some of the genius going around in this talented Blog Pool….

Michelle at 4 Men 1 Lady has been renovating their home (I mean, move into an apartment while you gut it, kind of renovating!)…she revealed the Kitchen/Dining/Living space this week and my jaw dropped. You have to see the Befores to really appreciate the masterpiece she created.

My sweet bloggy friend, Rachie at A Chi Chi Affair, recently married and has been sharing all the beautiful and glamorous details. Her wedding was truly magazine-perfect!

We’ve seen pillows made from napkins and placemats, but Lori at Design Salon made this fabulous oversized one, by simply adding filler between the front and cotton-backing of an Anthropologie rug. Imagine the possibilities!

Almost every little girl loves a play kitchen, but they are always such an eye-sore. Tanya from Dans le Townhouse created this adorable play kitchen out of an old microwave cabinets! How chic and stylish for any room in the house!

We spend a lot of time in the backyard, and I love to hear the sounds of the windchimes in the trees. Kim at Sand and Sisal made this gorgeous copper mobile that I’d love to add….I can only imagine how pretty it is as it spins.

And just as I was recovering from my latest ‘episode,’ Megan at Honey We’re Home goes and shows us her organized linen closet! Thanks a lot. (Pssst…did you see the Pottery Barn Challenge she’s involved in?!?!? Totally voting for my girl!)

Chassity at Look Linger Love just moved to a new home, and if she doesn’t stop teasing us with the most amazing peeks, I might just lose my mind. I can not wait to see everything she does…the girl has style.

And finally, I love everything Carmel at Our Fifth House cranks out. Now she’s giving her son the coolest room ever! I’ve already drooled over the Union Jack bed , and now we see this little nook?! I’m moving in.

What’s melting your butter lately? I’ll be carving out some free time for my About An Hour project…will you be joining us next Thursday? Happy weekend, lovebugs!
