I’ve told you guys time and time again how shocked grateful I am for all the opportunities that have come from this blog. It started as a much-needed creative outlet, and has grown to be such a huge part of me. I know if it weren’t for you…reading, commenting, pinning, linking etc…that none of it would come my way.
I was left speechless when the editors of HGTV Magazine contacted me about a future article. Then I recovered and rambled my way through the interview. Knowing something is going to happen, and actually seeing it happen, are two totally different things. So even though I knew it was coming, I still did a round-off back-handspring, with a double back flip, when the September issue arrived in my mailbox Saturday. I kid. I added a twist to the back flip. In the spirit of the Olympics.
The entire issue is great, but I’m partial to page 48, Bookshelves: Little Changes, Big Impact. Not only is it so stinking unbelievable cool to be in a glossy national magazine, but I’m in the story alongside my friend, Kate! I’m pretty sure the editors found me from someone’s Pinterest board…so thank you awesome readers and pinners!
And welcome to all you new readers…thanks so much for stopping by. I know you’re here because of this image…
Feel free to poke around in my House Tour and Project Gallery for more bright and colorful projects. Be sure to come back tomorrow for a fun project, and a party announcement!
