Well, it’s officially no longer Summer, but now it feels like we skipped Fall and went straight to Winter! We woke up 40-degrees this morning, and for Texas folk, that’s Winter! Hopefully we’ll see the sunny, crisp Fall days soon…and I’ll be ready!
Between holidays and family birthdays, we have a lot to celebrate this season, so I like to add a few seasonal touches to the house to make it more festive. Most of the decor is focused on the front porch, but I scatter a few peeks around the house, too.
It doesn’t require much, and as opposed to themed decor, I stick with mostly warm textures like pillows, throws, and assorted bowl fillers.

This console table is one of my favorite spots to decorate (see it styled three ways here), and it’s visible from pretty much the entire downstairs. I stick a removable Command hook to the front for wreaths. The art is a Little Miss original, and I’m obsessed with it! (See her full art gallery here.)

The grocery store is a great resource for florals…this arrangement is faux flowers in a real pumpkin. Fingers crossed it lasts through Thanksgiving!

And don’t forget eBay is another great source for seasonal decor (also dying over their assortment of pet costumes!)! So many brand new items, most with free shipping and returns.
You can also prep your Kitchen for all the holiday baking with their wide range of appliances (like stand-up mixers under $200!). You know I’m hooked on their Dyson Outlet, where I found our new vacuum wizard and scored a hair dryer for a steal!
Do you decorate for Fall, or save it up for Christmas? What are your favorite ways to add seasonal touches around the house?
