Cheers to Friday, friends, and the weekend ahead! Today is the last day of school before a week-long Thanksgiving Break, and I’m so ready!! Now that the kids are in High School and Middle School, I feel like I barely get to see them anymore. We’ve got a few college campus tours scheduled for next week, so we’ll have some good road trip togetherness!
Today we’re wrapping up the latest Five Ways Series, all about Black Jeans. When creating outfits for a Five Ways series, my goal is to give you options for a little bit of everything…work, weekend, and date night. Today’s style is a no-brainer, and something you can likely throw together for tonight!
Black on black with a touch of leopard is a fail-safe combo, and flattering on everyone. Black boots would elongate the legs even further, but I opted for tan to further prove that black and brown do go together! (See my other example here.)
This sweater can be worn off-the-shoulder for a night out, or as a cowlneck for day. It has the cutest satin-covered buttons, and is warm and soft. And clearly I’m a fan of the black jeans, since I’ve worn them every day this week. 😉 They are mid-rise, and stretchy enough to hold their shape all day.
Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS, and 26 jeans…so both are true to size.
I switched out my boots for an all-black style that’s always chic.
Did you have a favorite from the Five Ways | Black Jeans series this week? I rounded up a few more looks from the past for more inspiration. Click the post title above each image for more details.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this series as much as I loved creating it, and you found some new inspiration for your black jeans. Remember, my goal is to help you mix-and-match what’s already in your closet in fresh, new ways. And maybe add a new thing every now and then! 😉
Which look was your favorite of the week? What would you like to see featured in the next Five Ways series?! Happy weekend, lovebugs!
