Amazon Fashion Finds | May

Cheers to Friday, friends, and the weekend ahead! It’s another big one in the countdown to graduation…this weekend we have two banquets celebrating the Senior! The end-of-school rush is no joke, but this is on a whole other level. We’re just trying to soak up the final moments and celebrations, and all the emotions that come with it. How can I be so ecstatically happy and devastatingly sad at the same time?!?

In other news, there’s a HUGE announcement coming to the blog Monday, so don’t miss that!

Today I’m excited to share a new month of Amazon Fashion Finds! I started these last July, and they quickly become reader-faves, and even though it takes intense digging to find the good stuff, I love the challenge of discovering such gems! And remember, I’d never share anything with you that I wouldn’t wear myself, or recommend to my best friend!

This month is a fun one, with amazing finds for the new season. Here is the best of the batch…

Sidenote: If you’d like to see more of these Amazon posts, please consider not shopping via the Amazon app when on your phone/tablet. Not only does it not credit the sale to me (so only Amazon benefits), but it keeps me from seeing what you like most! Thank you for considering this option.

Let’s kick-off this month’s fashion finds with tops…starting with this darling embroidered top, so cute with shorts or jeans. It’s a mid-weight cotton that’s soft and not sheer, and the embroidery is beautifully sewn. I paired it with the longer cutoffs from my Target Haul (I’m obsessed!), but it would be cute dressed up with jeans and wedges for a summer night out, too.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Small.

Embroidered Top | Long Inseam Distressed Shorts | Sandals | Bangle Set

Another cute embroidered option, this one is a lightweight, crisp poplin with fun, colorful details. The tassel ties create a keyhole that’s fairly low, so I’d layer a cami or add a little piece of double-sided tape to keep it closed. It comes in several other solids, and even some cute stripes.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Medium, but I would prefer the fit of a small.

Embroidered Top | White Jeans | Circle Beaded Earrings | Sandals | Bangle Set

Daily Ritual, the Amazon house brand, has become my first stop for classic, essential pieces. They are so well-made, and they’ve perfected the silky-soft, jersey knit! It’s the kind of material you want to live and sleep in! This dolman tee has a drop sleeve and slightly wider neck, and drapes beautifully.

I paired it with some super-fun statement earrings for a bright pop…how cute would they be with a white sundress?!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS in the top, and it’s intended to be an oversized, relaxed fit.

Striped Jersey Tee | White Jeans | Pom Pom Earrings | Sandals | Bangle Set

You can never have too much chambray, and this shirt is somehow thick and substantial, but also silky and soft! It has structure, but also a relaxed drape. Just a great classic piece for jeans, shorts, and skirts, and wears well into the Fall season.

I love the simple shape of the belt, and will pair it with jeans and shorts, and even to cinch dresses.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a XS top and Small belt- but would prefer more length, so size up one.

Chambray Shirt | White Jeans | Circle Belt | Rattan Hoops

Another piece in the perfect jersey knit, this v-neck tank is silky soft. Definitely a piece I’ll be reaching for when the Texas humidity kicks in! Pair it with everything from cutoffs to jeans, and skirts to pajamas…it easily dresses up or down, and is crazy comfortable.

I jazzed it up a bit with the belt and statement earrings. The price on these is incredible, and they look and feel exactly like pieces three times as much.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Small.

V-Neck Tank | White Jeans | Circle Belt | Sandals | Tassel Earrings

Y’all loved the ‘Good Vibes’ tee so much in April’s Amazon Fashion Finds, I searched out a few more graphic options for you. I love the cheerful color and happy message of this tee, and the cotton is thick, stretchy and so soft. Definitely a high-quality tee!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing Small.

‘Hello Sunshine’ Tee | Long Inseam Distressed Shorts | Sandals

Another fun option, especially for you baseball moms…this tee is perfect for the ballfields! It’s supportive without looking like part of the team, ha! It’s thick, stretchy and so soft, too. Definitely so much more than you’d expect for the price!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Small.

Baseball Tee | Long Inseam Distressed Shorts | Sandals

Okay, moving on…Summer is travel season, and I love pieces that are comfy for long flights, but still look cute once you get to the other end. This cardigan is just about as soft and cozy as they come. In fact, I’d compare it to the comfort of the Barefoot Dreams cardigan! #gasp But obviously at a much better price point. I’d wear it with everything from jeans to pajamas, and definitely perfect for chilly, long flights!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a XS.

V-Neck Jersey Tank | Cozy Long Cardigan | Sandals | White Jeans | Tassel Earrings

This pullover and jogger combo feel like a hug you never want to let go! Seriously, it’s so comfy it’s dangerous!! Like, the kind of comfortable that has you reaching for it day-after-day, until your husband starts to wonder if you have anything else to wear. Or if you showered. The kind of comfortable that makes you want to take to the couch for a night. Or seven. You get the picture?

It’s thick jersey knit, so it’s super soft and stretchy…and a great mid-weight. Both pieces come in additional colors, so you don’t have to wear them as a matching set.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing XS in both. The joggers are a longer length, but I just pulled them up.

Pullover Hoodie | Jogger Pant

Another absurdly comfy option, this jumpsuit is as soft as it is cute. It’s similar to the Target find, but a little thicker, a little softer, and a bit more cropped. You really can’t go wrong with either, but you really need one of them! I’d wear them alone with sandal or sneakers, with a jean jacket, and lounging around the house. Perfect for travel, too!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a XS.

Jumpsuit | Sandals | Bangle Set

Up next is dresses, but first let’s chat about the bangle set. You know I love my Budha Girl all-weather bangles…in fact, I named them a Sugarplum Fave. I wear them almost every day of the warmer months, and especially love them for beach and pool vacations because they’re rubber and never tarnish or get hot. But they’re definitely pricey!! I’ve scoured the internet looking for a more affordable option…and while these aren’t rubber (so I wouldn’t wear them in water or through TSA security lines), they have a similar look and style. As you can see from this post, they go with everything and add little something-something to outfits.

Now, the dress!! Cute and easy t-shirt material, in a great mid-weight (not sheer or clingy), with cute ruffle trim on the sleeves. Wear it with sandals or sneakers, or even as a swim cover. It’s thick enough for everyday running around and a great quality cotton.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a XS, but it’s 100% cotton, so I expect it to shrink a little.

Striped T-Shirt Dress | Circle Beaded Earrings | Sandals | Bangle Set

I’ve had tons of requests for graduation dresses (for moms), and this one would be perfect! Beautiful colors, forgiving shape, easy to wear, and lightweight for standing around outside waiting for your grad! You can even wear it with wedges to be sure your feet are comfy, too. I love the ruffle hem and tulip sleeve.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Small, but I would prefer an XS, so true to size.

Dress | Sandals | Bangle Set | Circle Beaded Earrings

For my office girls, here’s a perfect Summer work-ready dress! Thick and stretchy jersey knit, in a flattering wrap style with a slight cap sleeve and knee-length. Wow, that was a lot of descriptors in one sentence! Bottom line, it’s comfortable, well-made, so timeless and chic, and comes in lots of fun colors and patterns.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing XS.

Wrap Dress | Tassel Earrings | Sandals | Bangle Set

I was instantly smitten with the bold red and fun pattern of this shirt-style dress. The fabric isn’t my favorite…a thin poly rayon that feels a little stiff…but the shape, pattern and price more than make up for it. Great for work with a heel or wedge, too.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing Small.

Shirtdress | Sandals | Bangle Set | Circle Beaded Earrings

Hello, maxi!! Adore this statement maxi dress, with the bold pattern and flattering shape. The top is a stretchy knit with a printed pattern, and racerback shape. The bottom a flowy, soft knit. It’s a little long for me, but that’s an easy hem.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing Small, definitely size up one in this dress.

Statement Maxi Dress | Sandals | Bangle Set | Circle Beaded Earrings

This dress is a dead-ringer for this higher-priced version (I’d know, I own it!) Silky soft jersey knit, it flows beautifully and has a flattering faux-wrap top and banded waistline. And bonus, it’s completely bra-friendly, and long for the tall girls!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing Small.

Jersey Maxi Dress | Sandals | Bangle Set | Tassel Earrings

Another great look for less, this maxi is virtually the same as this one that’s twice the price. (I’d know, I have it, too, darn it!!)  Except this one has a leg slit and pockets, so I love it even more! The straps are adjustable for a custom fit up top, too.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing Small.

Maxi Dress | Sandals | Bangle Set | Tassel Earrings

Okay, wrapping things up…here’s a cute little striped pajama set for Summer, with a fun embroidered flamingo. More prints are available, and the shorts have an easy pull-on style with drawstring. It’s a cotton/poly blend, so there’s a touch of stiffness to them.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing Small.

Pajama Short Set

As for workout wear, these were the best finds of the month. The tank is lightweight and quick-drying with a fun open back. The leggings are a blend of cotton and lycra with a fun color block. They’re extra long for me, but I just cuffed them under.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Small in both, but would prefer a XS in the leggings.

Workout Tank | Colorblock Leggings

Let’s talk swimwear…the surprise category for Amazon Fashion Finds! I can’t believe how much ya’ll love these affordable suits! This high-waist and racerback top is a sporty and flattering shape, and the stripes so fun. The material isn’t a true lycra, but would definitely work for a season or two. The top has built-in cups and the pieces are fully-lined.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small.

High-Waist Swim Set

As for a cover-up, this caftan is totally different from my usual style, but the colors and pattern are so chic and gorgeous! Add a statement earring like these, and you can waltz in to any country club pool!

Fit Tip: This item is a one-size-fits-all. It’s long on me, but the side slits create more of a train than a puddle of fabric.

Patterned Caftan | Sandals | Bangle Set | Circle Beaded Earrings

As for accessories, I definitely found some winners! These flip-flops were actually recommended by one of you! They’re rubber, so perfect for the pool and beach, with a cute bow add-on. They are a little stiff, but hopefully loosen up over time.

Bow Flip Flops

My favorites of the month, these earrings are all gorgeous outfit-makers, and each could easily pass for three times the price!

Bangle Set | Tassel Earrings | Circle Beaded Earrings | Rattan Hoops | Pom Pom Earrings

So many fun finds this month, right? As for the most popular from our Amazon Fashion Finds of April, these were the Top 5:

‘Good Vibes’ Tank / Amazing quality
Tie-Front Henley Top / Lightweight & soft
Colorblocked Tank / Super soft with a longer length
Printed Sundress / Perfect summer dress for $21!
Pom Pom Two Piece Swimsuit / High waist & poms, what’s not to love?!

As for my random non-fashion buys, I’m stocking up for our big Summer trip next month with this universal outlet and converter, and this sleep mask that actually saves your lashes. Little Miss managed to sneak this 100-pack of hair clips in my order, too.

Something I’d love to see is a post of summer occasion dresses, beautifullieces that won’t break the bank but that would be tremendous for a summer formal wedding, a garden party, etc.

Cassie! I wanted to tell you how great it is that your email newsletter includes all the links and that it includes ALL your finds. I don’t always have time to access the actual blog and it’s so easy to the click on over. (Not a lot of bloggers do this btw) so I imagine it must add extra work your already busy schedule. It’s very appreciated.

You’re so sweet to think of me! If you get a pop-up that says ‘shop in the app?’, you simply decline and it should open in safari. The easiest way is to read the blog and click over while on a laptop or desktop though. No worries either way, I’m always thrilled when you guys find things you love!

Cassie – love following you and seeing your great finds!!
I am curious, I just ordered a couple of the dresses. Your second photo of the black jersey maxi dress looks like there is a design in it. When I placed my order I could not see a design in that dress. Is there some design in yours?
Thanks for sharing all of the information you do! You are a classy looking gal and I wish I could figure out how to get my hair like yours!

Thanks so much, Pam, I’m thrilled you like these posts! That dress is solid black jersey..might just be a sun spot (or dust, ha!) on my mirror that makes it look pattered?!

I love this round up! I don’t often seek out clothing on amazon myself because I wouldn’t know what to look for, but you did all the hard work for us! I did order an amazon swimsuit last summer (blogger recommended) and had REALLY low expectations, but darned if it wasn’t my fave suit of the season! I love the Daily Ritual pieces you found. I am going to order a t-shirt and also a cute striped sweatshirt that caught my eye from that line. So happy that this stuff is available to us Canaidians! Thanks for helping me get dressed everyday!

Thanks Cassie – just ordered the striped dress and black v-neck tee! You definitely make shopping for clothes on Amazon easier! It seems there are always multiple brands with the same item and not always easy to figure out which one is the best. They have such strange brand names too, which sometimes deters me from purchasing.

    Hi Cassie,
Love, love, love your Amazon hauls!! You’re gorgeous!!! Without being too personal, wondering what you wear under your dresses?? Being a fellow Texas girl, I want to wear a dress in the summer, but feel like my legs stick and I just get so sweaty! It’s hard to look good in the summer when the minute you step foot out the door in 95 degree weather + 100% humidity, I feel like I’m melting and it’s shower time again, ugh! Thanks so much!!
