Amazon Fashion Finds | March

Cheers to Friday, friends, and the weekend ahead! We’re headed home today with full hearts and a bucket of memories. Not only did we love everything about Exuma and our family time together, but we made genuine friendships with people there! The kids even said there was something special about the island and people, and hope we can visit again.

Thanks for your love this week on Sugarplum Style, the roundup of my everyday outfits, plus yesterday’s Statement Skirt, styled Three Ways. I hope they inspired some new ideas from your own closet.

Today I’m excited to share a new month of Amazon Fashion Finds! I started these last July, and they quickly become reader-faves, and even though it takes intense digging to find the good stuff, I love the challenge of discovering such gems!

This month is a fun one, with amazing finds for transitional season and Spring Break. Here is the best of the batch…

Sidenote: If you’d like to see more of these Amazon posts, please consider not shopping via the Amazon app when on your phone/tablet. Not only does it not credit the sale to me (so only Amazon benefits), but it keeps me from seeing what you like most! Thank you for considering this option.

Let’s kick off this month’s fashion finds with this cute gingham top made of a sturdy material…wear it belted for a peplum look or open with a bell shape. It’s cute with sneakers and sandals, jeans and shorts.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a navy small, so I’d recommend sizing up one.

Sleeveless Blouse | Mid-Rise Skinny Jeans | Earrings | Flat Sandals in ‘Makeup’

This twill jacket completely blew me away…the quality is on-par with the Madewell utility jacket, but for a fraction of the price. It has an interior drawstring for a slimming fit, and stiff mock-collar that stands tall. It comes in a ton of colors and makes a perfect transitional jacket.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small, but would prefer my usual XS, so I’d say it’s true to size.

Let’s pause and chat jeans for a moment! Many of you were fans of the jeggings in the Fall, and I’ve been on the hunt for another great pair since…and finally hit the jackpot! These are sturdier than jeggings, but not as thick as traditional denim, giving them a comfortable, light fit for Spring. They’re stretchy and have a way of hugging all the right spots.

Fit Tip: These are the mid-blue color, size 26-short. I’d say they’re true to size, but I opted for short for ankle length.

Sleeveless Blouse | Mid-Rise Skinny Jeans | Flat Sandals in ‘Makeup’

Remember this sheath dress from last month’s Amazon Fashion Finds? When I spotted the shorts version, I had to try it for myself. And honestly, for the price I wasn’t expecting much. But as soon as I slipped it on, I knew it was coming with me on Spring Break! It shows a sliver of skin, but not so much that I feel uncomfortable…especially on vacation. I love the colors, and the fit is comfortable and flattering.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small, so I’d recommend sizing up one.

Short Set | Flat Sandals in ‘Makeup’

Speaking of Spring Break, I’ve got three winning dresses you’ll want for the warm-weather seasons ahead! First up is this jersey knit cap sleeve dress…super soft, but also really thick and well-made. I love the slightly longer length and drop sleeve. Throw it on with sandals or sneakers, tie a shirt around your waist or layer a jean jacket, or even wear it as a cover-up. It’s incredibly versatile and a great base for so many outfits.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS and it’s roomy, so I’d say true to size, or size down if you prefer it more fitted.

V-Neck Dress | Beaded Earrings | Flat Sandals in ‘Makeup’

Another dress that came with me to the Bahamas, this one is a soft jersey knit, as well, but a longer maxi length. The slit gives it a little sass, and it’s so cute layered with a jean jacket. I like the streamlined, sheath fit, without it being body-con.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS, so I’d say it’s true to size.

Crewneck Maxi Dress | Beaded Earrings | Flat Sandals in ‘Makeup’

This is the same dress, but with a lower scoop neck instead of the crewneck. I love both styles equally, so it’s really just a preference things. Also, this is the navy, so you can see it’s a deep hue.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS, so I’d say it’s true to size.
Racerback Maxi Dress | Beaded Earrings | Flat Sandals in ‘Makeup’

If you caught my Dressing Room Diaries last week, this striped jumpsuit might look familiar! The styles are very similar, but this super-affordable one is a stretchy knit, that actually feels like loungewear. I’d still wear it out with sandals, but it’s a much more casual style than the chambray option I shared last week.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small, which is a little long in the stride and armholes, but my usual size would have pulled in other areas. I’d recommend sizing up one.

Jumpsuit Romper | Beaded Earrings | Flat Sandals in ‘Makeup’

This dress is super lightweight and thin (not sheer), and really soft with good drape and flow. I prefer it as a swimsuit cover-up, but you could make it work for casual running around, too.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing black XS, so I’d say it’s true to size.

Summer Dress | Beaded Earrings | Flat Sandals in ‘Makeup’

I’m totally having a moment with sets, and think they’re so fun for Summer. They’re like a dress, but a little sassier! This set has the cutest lemon print, with a comfortable elastic waist and smocked top…pull it up or down for more skin. The skirt is on the thin side, so I’d probably save it for vacation versus everyday.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small, so I’d recommend sizing up.

Crop Top Maxi Skirt | Beaded Earrings | Flat Sandals in ‘Makeup’

This chiffon maxi dress is gorgeous…even more so for under $30! I love the shades of blue color block, and the halter style gives it an adjustable fit. It’s lined to mid-thigh, and falls to the floor on me (I’m 5’4″).

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small, but would prefer an XS, so I’d say it’s true to size.

Maxi Dress | Earrings | Flat Sandals in ‘Makeup’

I don’t love this color on me, but the style and embroidery of the dress is too good not to share! It’s incredibly well-made and full-lined, plus pockets!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small, but need my usual XS, so I’d say it’s true to size.

Embroidered Dress | Earrings | Flat Sandals in ‘Makeup’

Y’all loved the jumpsuit I found last month, so I wanted to give you another option with sleeves. This one is a sturdy chiffon, with flutter sleeves and flattering pleats and a tie at the waist. Dress it up for Summer wedding season, or pair it with sandals for a casual date night out.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing black size small, so I’d recommend sizing up one.

Ruffle-Trim Jumpsuit | Earrings

Okay, it’s always hard sharing swimsuits on the internet, but y’all clearly love seeing them (they’ve been your top buys for the last two months!), so here goes with a few more great buys! I can’t get enough of the high-waist this season…full coverage for the bum and stomach, with the flattering, sassy fit of a two piece. I love the high neck of this combo, too.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small, but I always size up one in swimwear, so I’d say it’s true to size.

High-Waisted Bikini

These two styles are more traditional two-pieces. The palm print has a high neck (I love the sun protection for the chest!), and a sporty mid-rise bottom. The material isn’t as thick as some of the others, but the pattern too cute not to share.

The scallops are a thick, textured material, in a fun one-shoulder style. The bottoms are definitely low-rise, but have decent coverage across the bum.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small in both, but would consider going up 2 in the scallops.

Leaf-print High Neck Bikini | One Shoulder Bikini

This one-piece isn’t a usual style for me, so I was surprised by how much I like it! The top is more exposed, but the high-waist bottom balances it out. The material is really well-made, with good lycra and stretch.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a black size 6, so I’d size up.

Halter One-Piece

I lean towards shorter cover-ups, but this colorful crochet is really fun! I love all the bright colors and sleeve, but do wish it weren’t as sheer.

Fit Tip: These are one-size, the color is A-White.

Colorblock Beach Maxi Dress

And finally, I can’t leave you without a pajama option, and these were by-far my faves of the month. They remind me of the sets my kids wore when they were little, but the colors and prints are too fun to resist! These are dinosaurs, but they come in tons of options.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small, but they did shrink in length in the washer/dryer!

Pajamas

Now let’s chat accessories…I found two new pieces that I’m totally obsessed with for Spring and Summer! First, the earrings could not be any more fun…add them to any basic outfit for a total statement. And the ‘H’ bangle is legit! The H actually swivels to open, and the bangle is smooth and heavy. It comes in a ton of colors, mine is the 12mm gold-pink.

Floral Leaf Earrings | ‘H’ Bangle Bracelet

I’m pretty happy with this arm party I’ve got going!

Buckle Bangle Bracelet | ‘Love’ Bracelet

So many fun finds this month, right? I’m often asked which pieces I keep for myself or which I deem the ‘best of the best’….that’s a tough choice for this post, but if I had to choose just five:

  1. Short Set
  2. V-Neck Dress
  3. ‘H’ Bangle Bracelet
  4. Crewneck Maxi Dress
  5. Mid-Rise Skinny Jeans

As for non-fashion finds I’m loving lately, this power bank has been a life-saver for our trip, and this curling iron just replaced my ‘fancy’ one as my new favorite.

I have that crewneck maxi in my cart and am considering! Would love to see that in an Instagram story. Hoping it’s loose enough in the rear that you don’t see underwear lines and it’s not see through at all.

Love your Amazon finds! I know it takes a lot of research and digging….so thank you! I buy something every month! I would like to see smaller earrings. I love all the fun colored earrings but they are way too long and heavy looking for me. And what about Amazon shoes, especially summer sandals?

If you had to pick between the amazon utility jacket and the old navy one which would it be?!?

That’s tough! The Amazon is a little big on me, so for that reason, I’d go with the old Navy one. Also, ON has more color options. If you want one of the basic colors and your size is available, I’d choose the Amazon jacket. Hope.that helps!!

Long time fan of blog & your fashion reviews. This was 99% a great post, but you really shouldn’t promote designer knockoffs like the H bracelet. It is a counterfeit by another name. Hermès isn’t a sympathetic victim, but it is their design regardless and their reputation wearing that bracelet attempts to invoke. This goes for Amazon selling it as well. Something to consider when selecting future goods.

The V neck black dress looks much cuter on you than the model! She looks like she’s wearing a sack. I might need this dress…

Hi Cassie! Thanks for the great post! Love these Amazon fashion posts. 🙂 I have several items in my cart…including those cute pjs in the ballerina print! 🙂 I wanted to ask about the TB Miller sandals…I really really want a pair, but am having a hard time justifying the price! What is your review of them? I see you (and many bloggers) wearing them and love the look…Are the super comfortable?

I’m thrilled you like the posts, Debbie! I drug my feet ordering the Miller sandals for YEARS (why don’t they ever go on sale!!)…and the first thing I thought when I finally bought them was, ‘What took me so long?!?!’ I honestly wear them with EVERYTHING…cutoffs to dresses. They dress everything up and are comfy. I go up a half size.

Thank you SO much for these posts! I LOVE your style and find so much of what you post to be exactly what I would wear. The ‘Miller’ sandals are on my list for spring but like you used to be– justifying the price has been a bit hard!

Hi Cassie, I follow your regularly and love your posts! Going on a Disney cruise soon and am contemplating the long colorblocked maxi. Did you end up keeping it? I think it’s really cute, just curious about sizing, etc. I’m similar to you – 5’3 and around 118 llbs.

How fun!!! I didn’t keep it, but only bc I have all the maxis from our Resort Collection and just didn’t need it! It’s a striking dress and fit well!

I purchased the chiffon maxi dress and just loved it! I kept thinking that I would open it, try it on, and have to return it because it is unlike anything I’ve worn. But I was so pleasantly surprised. Thanks so much, Cassie!
