Happy Friday, friends, and cheers to the weekend! It feels good to be home, and with zero plans!! I see long dog walks and hopefully a lot of sleep in my future! What’s on your agenda?
Thanks for your love this week on the big beauty post sharing all the makeup we used for Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Resort, plus tips from a professional. I was thrilled so many of you scooped up sale finds in yesterday’s Get the Look, too! I also shared our family’s favorite Taco Soup recipe, in case you missed it.
Today I’m excited to share a new month of Amazon Fashion Finds! I started these last July, and they quickly become reader-faves, and even though it takes intense digging to find the good stuff, I love the challenge of discovering such gems!
This month is a fun one, with amazing finds for transitional season and Spring Break. Here is the best of the batch…
Sidenote: If you’d like to see more of these Amazon posts, please consider not shopping via the Amazon app when on your phone/tablet. Not only does it not credit the sale to me (so only Amazon benefits), but it keeps me from seeing what you like most! Thank you for considering this option.
Let’s start with this easy, lightweight merino pullover…perfect for transitional weather. I’ll wear it now under a jacket, and later with cut-offs! It’s incredibly well-made, super soft, and even has the cutest little gold buttons on the shoulder. It’s a medium weight, and not sheer at all.
Fit Tip: I sized up to a small for a relaxed fit.
Striped Sweater | Jeans | Loafers
I’m a sucker for a flirty top in warmer months, and this one delivers. The top is a super-soft jersey knit tee, with a seersucker stripe peplum bottom. The lower half is a crisp cotton that isn’t too billowy, and has a little high-low hem. And to top it off, there’s a tie at the neck in the contrasting seersucker fabric!
Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small
Peplum Top | Jeans | Loafers
The color is a little off in my pic, but this sweater is a fun combo of red, ivory and navy. It’s a medium-weight cable knit that’s cute layered over chambray now, or paired with shorts later.
Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small
Striped Sweater | Jeans | Loafers
Adore this wrap sweater with belted waist…so perfect thrown over a tank for an easy, chic style! The fit is comfortable and flattering, and the material super soft. The sleeves have a bit of a bell shape, and it covers the bum. This is definitely a wardrobe staple, and available in several great neutrals.
Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS.
Belted Wrap Sweater (pale heather) | White Jeans | Leopard Flats
Moving on to some dressier styles…both of these tops are great Work to Weekend styles. Both adorable with black jeggings, or dressed up with a pencil skirt or trousers for work. The peplum top is thick with a bit of texture and contrasting trim at the neck and hem. The ric rac a fun blush pink with flutter sleeves.
Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small in both tops, and XS-reg in the jeggings.
Peplum Top | Ric Rac Top | Black Jeggings | Pumps
I literally gasped out loud when I pulled on this dress…so much cuter than I’d even hoped! Incredibly well-made and thick, the dress could easily be three times the price. I love the retro shape, with front pockets and frayed trim. It’s thick and structured, but not stiff. Wear it now with tights or later with pumps. It comes in white, as well.
Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small, but only size up if you’re in-between. (I have a little extra room.)
Can you believe this chic sheath dress is around $20!? Yep…that’s a lot of bang for your buck. Granted the material is a stretchy polyester (definitely wear nude undergarments), but it’s not overly sheer or poorly made. It zips up the back and falls just below the knee, and is forgiving and flattering. Add a blazer to up the style!
Fit Tip: Size up one, I’m in a small.
I can practically hear Mama SP swooning over this dress…she loves this style on me. It has a bit of a retro vibe, with the short, swingy shape, and the cutest pearl-trimmed collar. The body is stretchy and thick, and the collar has a good, stiff structure. So cute with tights now, or pumps later.
Fit Tip: I sized up one to a small
This little black dress is a no-brainer! Such a flattering fit-and-flare shape, with halter-style neckline. The material is a super-thick knit with some holding power through the body, and good movement in the skirt. It falls to the knee making it great for work (maybe add a cardigan or blazer), but perfect for a cocktail, too.
Fit Tip: It’s true to size, I’m wearing a 2.
A sassier option, this ruffle-trim jumpsuit is all kinds of fun! The waist hits at just the right spot, and the stride a good fit, too. The material is a stretch crepe, so it drapes well and doesn’t hug. If only it had pockets!! Dress it up with heels and statement jewels (these earrings are under $15!), or pair it with wedges or sandals.
Fit Tip: I sized up one for my longer torso, I’m wearing a small/US 6
Ruffle Jumpsuit | Beaded Earrings
Moving on to pajamas…I found two great options for you this month…starting with this cute striped short set. Soft jersey knit, and a medium weight, they come in several colors and stripes.
Fit Tip: I usually size up in pajamas, but these XS had plenty of room.
I love a crisp, lightweight cotton nightie in the Summer, and I found mine for the season! I love the ruffle trim and knee length, and it launders beautifully! (I’ve already been wearing it with my Barefoot Dreams cardigan!)
Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS
Okay, now let’s talk Spring Break! It’s right around the corner, and if your response to the Gibson x Hi Sugarplum Resort Collection was any indicator, you’re more than ready for warm weather and fun trips!
I have this dress in shirt form from last year (find it here), and couldn’t wait to try the dress, too! The hardest part is choosing a color combo…there are tons! The embroidery is incredibly well-done and beautiful, I just wish they’d put it on a little heavier dress. The cotton poplin is lightweight and crisp, but some color may be a little sheer. It makes a darling swim coverup though! I paired it with these fun beaded earrings, and my favorite packable hat (under $20!), for a fun and affordable combo. Hurry up, Summer…#amIright?!
Fit Tip: I sized up in the dress, wearing a small.

Okay, I must really love you if I’m willing to share post-vacation swimsuit pics!! But I found too many cute ones not to share…in fact, I took most of these with me to Mexico last week! (More on that soon.)
I’m crazy for the palm print of these suits, and honestly can’t choose a favorite style between the two! The one on the left has the magical ability of being flattering on most everyone. (Seriously, I shared it last year and couldn’t believe the overwhelming response from so many of you!) It dips lower in the front, but has a modest leg to balance it out. It’s fully-lined with padded cups and support built in. The ruffle placement draws the eye up and creates a longer line.
The suit on the right is a more classic shape, but the ruffle trim falls all the way around the back, and ties in the middle. It’s fully-lined with built-in cups, too. The material of both is a traditional, smooth, lycra.
Fit Tip: I size up one in swimsuits, and am wearing a small in both.
Palm Deep-V Swimsuit | Palm Ruffle-Trim Swimsuit
I never fancied myself a high-waisted girl, and now I can’t get enough of them!! They are seriously so comfortable, and with the right fit, they’re incredibly flattering, too! The suit on the left is a great alternative to a swim shirt (full sun protection), and is sporty and chic. It has a built-in bandeau that offers support, padding, and stays put. The bottoms are a true high-waist with flattering ruching to support and disguise tummies.
The palm print on the right was the Top 2 reader-fave swimsuit from our trip last week! I try to keep my chest out of the sun, so I love the high-neck…and the bottoms offer full support with a sporty/chic style. The top has built-in cups, but they require a little adjusting when you first get the suit on. Oh, and you have to see the criss-cross back!
Fit Tip: I’m wearing a size 4 in the stripes, and small in the palm. So a size up from my regular clothes, and true for swimsuits.
Long-Sleeve Swimsuit | Palm Print Swimsuit
I’ve always worn two-pieces, but now that I’ve found so many comfortable and flattering one-pieces, I have a hard time wearing anything else! The suit on the left is an internet favorite (just check all these reviews!), and incredibly flattering with the halter neckline and ruching along the sides. Only problem for me is it’s definitely for bustier girls…I didn’t quite fill it out, and it gaped a little on the sides.
The color blocked suit on the right was the other reader-fave from my trip last week…something about the perfect mix of colors and placement makes it so chic! The top has built-in cups, and it has adjustable criss-cross straps in the back. It’s a touch cheeky, but just enough to make it a little sexy.
Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small in the black, but sized up to a medium in the color block for my longer torso.
Wrap Front Swimsuit | Colorblock Swimsuit
And lastly, let’s chat accessories!! Who knew Amazon had such darling beach bags and clutches!!?? It’s the Summer jackpot, I tell ya! Both of these bags are darling, and so well-made. I have the tote version of the tassel bag, too, and the colors are perfect for just about everything!
Tassel Clutch (tote bag version here) | Dot Clutch
This straw tote with seersucker trim would be just as cute running around town as it is at the pool! I added the little bag charm for an extra pop of fun…it’s only $10!!?? #bamwhat!
Seersucker Trim Bag | Clip-On Bag Tassel
I love searching out the best jewelry gems, and these earrings were the best of the best this month. I kind of want them both in every color! The beads are a little heavy, and so well-made! The raffia are perfectly lightweight and swingy, and so perfect for Summer styles.
Beaded Earrings | Raffia Earrings
And finally, I know you love a good dupe, and these sneakers blew me away! Not only are they an affordable option to the popular Golden Goose sneakers, but they’re legit comfortable!! They’re soft and not at all stiff, with a little built-in lift and arch. And hello, they’re darn cute, too!
Fit Tip: True to size
So many fun finds this month, right? I’m often asked which pieces I keep for myself or which I deem the ‘best of the best’….that’s a tough choice for this post, but if I had to choose just five:
1. Palm Swimsuit
2. Striped Sweater
3. Clip-On Bag Tassel
4. Tweed Dress
5. Packable Hat
As for what’s in my cart for next time…another pair of these perfect sunglasses, these darling scallops, and I have high-hopes for these cut-offs!
