Hello, hello friends! I hope your weekend was grand and you’re feeling ready to conquer the rest of August! I love sharing projects around here, especially the home decor kind, but this week I’ve got a new kind of renovation going on…Hi Sugarplum is getting a fresh new look!
It’s been waaaay too long since we’ve had an update, from both an aesthetic and technology standpoint. When I started Hi Sugarplum in May 2010, not only did I have no idea what I was doing, but I had no inkling it could ever become my job! I was just sharing with my girlfriends on the internet, as a way of connecting others, and as a much-needed creative outlet.
And now here we are, 13 years later, with 13 GLxHSP Collections, countless brand collaborations, genuine friendships, and shared heartaches. I truly count you all as my greatest gifts and blessings, and I hope you gain as much joy and inspiration here as I get from you every day!
Over the next several days, we’ll be updating the site, giving her a brand-new look that’s hopefully easier to navigate, faster to load, and more of a helpful resource to you! I’ve published almost 3,000 posts in the last 13+ years, so it’s going to take some time, and we may have a few kinks and hiccups.
In the meantime, you’ll want to follow me on Instagram HERE because this week Mr. Sugarplum and I are headed back to some place incredibly special to us!! After a three year renovation, our beloved Belmond Maroma is re-opening its doors, and they invited us to come experience the magic! I can’t wait to see the updates, and of course will share it with all of you!
Thank you for your patience as we make these changes and updates, and be sure to come hang out with me HERE in the meantime! And don’t worry, all the Hi Sugarplum posts you know and love will stay the same, it will just be a little easier to find them! Happy Monday, lovebugs!
