Now that we’re officially in a new year, I’ve been thinking a lot about what I want to carry forward — not just in my closet or beauty routine, but in how I show up and feel every day.
2025 brought so many good discoveries for me. Things I reached for over and over, style choices that finally clicked, and mindset shifts that made getting dressed (and living life) feel lighter and more confident.
These are the finds and lessons I’m intentionally bringing with me into 2026 — the ones that earned a permanent place…

One thing I’ve learned over time is that moving forward doesn’t always mean adding more — sometimes it’s about keeping what truly works.
As 2026 unfolds, these are the favorites (and reminders) I’m holding onto — the pieces that make me feel confident, comfortable, and like myself. Here’s to starting the year grounded, intentional, and excited for what’s ahead!
Tell me… what’s one thing you’re bringing with you into this year? Happy Monday, lovebugs!

Do you have a blog post or more information on the hormone replacement therapy? Thanks!
No, I haven’t gone in to too much detail with it simply because it’s so individually specific, and I’d never want to steer anyone wrong! What works for me isn’t a one-size-fits-all. But knowledge is power…so start with a full set of labs!! Knowing what you’re lacking helps determine where to start. xo. C
I’d love to hear more about your hormone replacement journey. I’m at that point and while everyone is different, it’s helpful to know how others have navigated their experience.
Hi Stephanie! The first big step is having a full lab panel done, and a doctor you trust to interpret the results! Knowledge of what is deficient in your body is key to deciding next steps! Even then, I’m continually re-testing to see how my body is reacting to dosages! Isn’t getting older fun?!
Can’t resist saying: Molly looks so bored in that last photo of you in gray cashmere, ha,ha! Cannot wait to try some of these ideas here. Leave it to Cassie to find the best solutions! XO
I’ve been bullet journaling again and getting stuff done. Also started tracking my ootd and noting what looks okay, good or, ‘uh-oh’ and deleting some clothes. I started this in September so now have a lot of pages I can refer back to if I need inspiration. My word for the year is ‘failure’… meaning I’m embracing taking risks and failing is okay, better than never trying. On that note, I’m in my second watercolor class, trying new techniques and making one journal for each class so I can look back.
I’ve been dealing with stress-related hair loss following a collapse in Italy, resulting in concussion and a nasty case of vertigo. Both those conditions resolved but then I found bald spots. I’m on my second round of minoxidil 5%, hoping to see new wisps of hair coming in. Still hoping.
I started WW and tracking food choices last summer and have lost about 20 lb. For the holiday season, I chose to not gain any and start my diet again in January. So far, no gain but need to bear down again on food tracking.
Continuing to exercise, do PT, yoga stretches or walk, six days a week.
Life is good!
So sorry!! Catching up on comments!! xoxo, C
I bought the overnight collagen mask when you first mentioned it as a favourite. What do you use on your face before applying the mask?
I do my usual full evening skincare routine! The mask helps lock it all in! xo. C
What is the number one thing from your list that am I bringing into 2026? Wide leg trouser-style jeans. They work for me, more so than any other denim silhouette.
What I wish I could bring – bangs. I love them, but they don’t love me. Given my hair texture, they just will not cooperate. 🙂
I’m so thrilled you love the jeans, too! I reach for them more than any other now! As for the bangs, they definitely require more attention than I”m used to! 😉
