You guys know by now… I take my travel game seriously! Between family trips, quick weekend getaways, and epic big once-in-a-lifetime trips (like this one!) I’ve pretty much got packing down to a science — and since I’m a carry-on girl about 95% of the time, every item has to earn its spot.
Over the years (and countless flights!), I’ve fine-tuned my must-haves — the smart little gadgets, comfy staples, and organization heroes that make travel smoother, lighter, and just a little more chic.
With spring break travel in full swing, I thought it was the perfect time to share a few of my tried-and-true travel essentials.

Whether you’re jetting off for a beach vacay, a city escape, or… somewhere a bit more extreme, these are the travel staples that make every trip easier and infinitely more enjoyable. I hope my favorites inspire your next adventure — or at least help you pack like a pro!

Hi Cassie!
Love this post. Curious how you make shoes work? I find they take up so much space. How do you maximize the suitcase with them? Also, when you travel to cold places, how do you deal with bulkier items? Thanks!
Colder climates definitely change the game…much harder to make work in a carry-on (unless it’s a shorter trip, in which case the compression packing cubes helps to de-puff the puffy stuff!) 😉 As for shoes, I wear my sneakers (the biggest shoes), and minimize how many I pack, sticking with neutral options that go with most everything.
Have you looked at the Comfrt Anywhere bag? It is very, very similar to the Luka duffel at a fraction of the price, though not as many color choices. I bought 1 recently and will probably be trying it out this summer.
No, but I’ll check it out! Does it have the same dimensions? I’ve seen a few that are similar, but much smaller.
