Happy Friday, friends, and cheers to the weekend! Both my sister and our son are in town for the big OU vs. TX game, and I’m so excited for a full house! It’s also Homecoming weekend for Little Miss, so lots of fun things going on. I hope you have fun on the agenda, too!
But first, grab your pumpkin lattes and fuzzy slippers, because today we’re talking sweaters! Dallas had a touch of Fall last week, and you’ve never seen people grab sweaters faster!! Of course, the whole thing only lasted about an hour, but it was enough to get us excited! True sweater weather is just around the corner… I can feel it! And I’ll be ready!
Today I’ve rounded up 8 darling sweaters from one of my favorite retailers, and all are under $80 (most are well under that, and some even on sale!)! Plus, they all include free shipping and hassle-free returns… not that you’ll want to send any of these cozy goodies back!
Sweater Weather // 8 Fall Sweaters Under $80
Stretchy, super-soft and in the classic crewneck shape, this cozy sweater comes in a slew of colorblock options, and will be a favorite this season! Plus, select colors are 35% off!
Sugarplum Fit Tip: I’m wearing a size XS sweater.
Colorblock Sweater (35% off!) | Straight Leg Jeans (size 26) | Layered Necklace | Thin Hoop Earrings | Similar Sunglasses | Lipstick in ‘Velvet Underground’
V-neck styles are so flattering on all shapes, and this one is perfectly slouchy and comes in the prettiest colors. Plus, it allows you to show off your fun necklaces! This layered cutie is a new Kendra Scott find… a single clasp for three layers, and it doesn’t tangle!
Sugarplum Fit Tip: I’m wearing a size XS sweater.
V-Neck Sweater | Step Hem Jeans (size 26) | Layered Necklace | Thin Hoop Earrings | Similar Sunglasses | Lipstick in ‘Velvet Underground’
Remember this one from this week’s ‘Add to Cart | What I’ve Ordered Lately’ post?! I’m absolutely crazy for the colors and wide stripes, and it’s a lighter weight, perfect for Texas falls. Also 25% off!
Sugarplum Fit Tip: I’m wearing a size XS sweater.
Striped Mockneck Sweater (25% off!) | White Jeans (size 2) | Layered Necklace | Thin Hoop Earrings | Similar Sunglasses | Lipstick in ‘Velvet Underground’
Similar fit and feel to the first colorblock sweater, this one has fun sleeve colors. It’s relaxed and cozy, and too cute for words! Does the hat strap look familiar? It’s from my Fall’s Essential Seven post, where I styled it tied around a bag (see it HERE). Such a versatile piece, and at great price!
Sugarplum Fit Tip: I’m wearing a size XXS sweater, it definitely runs large!
Drop Shoulder Sweater | Step Hem Jeans (size 26) | Panama Hat (60% off!) | Scarf | Lipstick in ‘Velvet Underground’
It’s a little hard to see in my photo, but this sweater has the cutest feminine details! I love the puffed shoulder and fuller sleeve, with wide cuffs. Keep it casual with denim, but easily dress it up with trousers or skirts.
Sugarplum Fit Tip: I’m wearing a size XS sweater.
Puff Sleeve Sweater | White Jeans (size 2) | Layered Necklace | Thin Hoop Earrings | Similar Sunglasses | Lipstick in ‘Velvet Underground’
I do love a cowlneck, and this one is perfectly relaxed, in Fall’s best neutrals! It’s soft with a longer length, and so darling with all shades of denim. And 25% off!
Sugarplum Fit Tip: I’m wearing a size XS sweater.
Colorblock Turtleneck Sweater (25% off!) | White Jeans (size 2) | Thin Hoop Earrings | Similar Sunglasses | Lipstick in ‘Velvet Underground’
A lightweight ribbed sweater, with a crazy-good price… this one comes in a range of colors, but pink is so fresh for Fall! I added that same scarf around my neck for an added pop of color and fun layer.
Sugarplum Fit Tip: I’m wearing a size XS sweater.
Ribbed Sweater | Step Hem Jeans (size 26) | Layered Necklace | Thin Hoop Earrings | Panama Hat (60% off!) | Scarf | Lipstick in ‘Velvet Underground’
And finally, who doesn’t love a fair isle pattern for Fall?! I love the oatmeal tone and roll neck of this one, and the cotton-blend is soft and sturdy. It’s L.L. Bean, so you know the quality is good!
Sugarplum Fit Tip: I’m wearing a size XS sweater. The cotton doesn’t have a lot of stretch, so consider sizing up if you prefer a more relaxed fit.
Fairisle Sweater | Straight Leg Jeans (size 26) | Similar Sunglasses | Lipstick in ‘Velvet Underground’
Okay, so this one is over $80 (by a little!), but was too cute not to share! I’m always a sucker for stripes, and this one has a fun collar, as well. The sleeves are wide and loose, but I just cuffed them for a cropped fit.
Sugarplum Fit Tip: I’m wearing a size XS sweater.
Striped Polo Sweater | Straight Leg Jeans (size 26) | Layered Necklace | Thin Hoop Earrings | Similar Sunglasses | Lipstick in ‘Velvet Underground’
So many cute sweaters, right? Which is your favorite? Nordstrom has been my go-to for years! The free shipping and returns certainly doesn’t hurt! If you have a local store, definitely check out their convenient, contact-free curb-side pickup, too!
So tell me, is it sweater weather where you are yet?! Which of these styles is calling your name? Happy weekend, lovebugs!
*This post created in collaboration with Nordstrom and ShopStyle Collective, but all product selections, styling, and dreams of sweater weather are my own. Thank you for supporting Hi Sugarplum sponsors!*
What shampoo and conditioner are you using lately? Your hair looks so healthy! And could you do an updated tutorial on your hair? I like just the “bend” look instead of curls. Thanks so much!
Thank you! the biggest difference in how I’ve been styling it is I’m now brushing it through after curling…so the curls are much looser! As for shampoo, I’ve been using Olaplex for awhile, but just switched to the new Colleen Rothschild conditioner and love it!
Also one more question. What could I tell my stylist to try to get your color? My hair is currently highlighted with a shadow root. I’m loving the shade of your blonde. Do you have lowlights or a shadow root? Any help to tell her would be appreciated!
Hi Karen!! We do a partial highlight every 12-14 weeks, with foils just along my part and hairline. Every other 12 weeks, we just do a ‘bump,’ where he lifts just my root line a few shades. This helps it from being over-processed! We still with mostly highlights in the warmer months, but will add a few lowlights for fall! xo. C
