Sugarplum Style, Vol. 56

Happy Friday, friends, and cheers to the weekend! We’ve got a busy one planned, starting with Little Miss’s first vocal recital tonight, a family celebration, and ending with a trip to the Dallas Symphony. We’re going to be in a Christmas frenzy by Sunday night, and I can hardly wait! (If you’re looking for some easy holiday looks, check this post.) 

Today it’s time for another round of Sugarplum Style, snapshots of my everyday outfits I share on Instagram and Facebook, created by mixing and matching items in my closet. I hope they inspire you to stretch your wardrobe further by mixing up what you already have, and thoughtfully add new things.

I’ve gotten so much wear out of this plaid shirt…it dresses up with a skirt and is cute with so many colors of vests. I wore this for a lunch date with girlfriends.

This outfit is actually from our Sedona Trip, but the ribbed sweater is on super sale, so I had to share it again. It’s soft and stretchy, and a relaxed fit.

I’ve shared this combo a few times, but they just keep marking this vest down lower and lower! Camo is surprisingly versatile (see Two Ways here)…I also pair it with camel, black and white stripes, and chambray.

This dolman sweater is super soft and stretchy, with a fun full sleeve…and also on super sale! It’s available in several colors, and easily makes a great night out look.

As soon as I found this belt, I instantly started planning outfits around it. A little pop of red is so fun…and the belt looks designer, don’t you think? This mock neck sweater is soft and loose, and hits at the perfect hip spot.

Usually I pair cardigans with tanks and tees, but I wore a flannel for a little extra color and warmth this day. And can you tell this bag is my favorite lately? The stripe combination is crimson and oxblood…oh, and SUGARPLUM10 will get you 10% off site wide.

This was my holiday festive look for a night at the theater, and one of my favorite combos lately. The dress is thick and stretchy with the cutest puff sleeves. I added the collared shirt under for an extra layer of style. The earrings are stunning, and perfect for dressing up any outfit! They’re 30% off today, too!

You didn’t think you had to pack up your white jeans, did you? No ma’am, I wear mine year round! I love them paired with gray or ivory in the Winter.

Fair Isle is forever my favorite sweater pattern, and this one has so much fun colors to pull from. Plus, it looks darling paired with stripes or gingham, and of course, a bold earring. If you’re a fan of the statement earring, too, then you definitely don’t want to miss the last day of this sale.

The red belt made another appearance, this time with an oversized (and so soft!) cowlneck and black booties. Although, I think it’s time I switched up my bag a little!
