I’m thrilled you guys are excited about the Transitioning to Spring style series this week, because I loved putting it together! And from the sound of it, we’re all ready for warmer weather and lighter clothes, so I hope this week gives you some fun ideas.
If you missed Day 1, check out my vibrant blue and yellow combo here, along with a new lighter Spring makeup routine. Today we’re switching to a weekend ready style, with casual stripes and punchy pinks.

Remember my formula for transitioning to Spring? This one follows that to a tee! #punny Peep-toe booties are essential for transitional seasons, and I wear them all Fall and Spring. I love the neutral color of these, and comfy block heel.
Fun necklaces add so much to an otherwise basic or neutral outfit, and this one has been in constant rotation for the last several Springs and Summers. The shades of blue and pink are incredibly versatile! (Seriously, just look through my Sugarplum Style posts from last Summer to see just how often I wear it!)

This was an especially chilly and windy day, so I added my favorite lightweight twill jacket. This jacket sees more action than any item in my closet, and with good reason. It adds an effortless chic to virtually every outfit, and is the perfect light layer for this time of year. (See it styled 15 ways here!)
And finally, y’all know I’m a long-time fan of Barrington Totes, and am excited to pull this Spring combo out for the season! The Savannah is my favorite size for everyday, with the zip top and tons of inside pockets. It’s also my carry-on bag of choice, since it’s so sturdy and also holds my laptop. This certainly isn’t the last you’ll see of this perfect striped tee and tassel necklace this season…and how cute would it be with white jeans or cut-off shorts?!
Striped tees and blush will never go out of style, I feel! Love the combination! 🙂

WELL. This is DARLING. DAR-LING. Love the stripes with the pink!
hahaha Sheaffer: I like your DAR-LING. And so is the tassel necklace which is on its way to lucky me!!
Hi Cassie, The reviews of the stripe tee on Madewell’s site say the tee is VERY short…What do you think?
Really, so strange! I don’t think it’s short at all?? You can see I’ve got it half-tucked and it’s still hanging out quite a bit in the back.
I have this jacket in the Hunter Green and have been trying to buy it in pink. It’s so frustrating when they sell out of several sizes so quickly online and in the store that I haven’t been able to get a Petite Small. I sure wish they would bring it back so more of us can purchase it.
Don’t they know people need their blush pink!?! 😉
Hi Cassie! That Barrington tote you feature in this post, is the color on it a soft pink? Or is it actually a more natural cream/beige? Love how neutral it looks and was trying to figure out what color it was on the Barrington website. Thanks!
