Okay, so obviously we’re all ready for Spring…or even more specifically, Sandal Season! Even though we still have some chilly days, I’m fully committed to open-toed shoes now. I just layer on a light jacket, and none gets more use in my wardrobe than a military jacket.
I started with the OG of military jackets…olive green…but was reaching for it so often, I slowly started adding new colors like a blush pink and this light khaki. It’s such a great basic, but makes even the most simple outfit more chic.
Military Jacket | Peplum Tee | Ankle White Jeans | Tassel Necklace | Geometric Print Bag | Wedge Espadrilles
I love the thick twill, tall collar and flattering cinch at the waist. The elastic wrists are great for keeping the sleeves pulled up, and the quality is amazing, especially considering the price.
Fit Tip: They are true to size, I wear an XS. They also launder beautifully in the washer and dryer.
I paired it with my favorite tee of late…this super-soft peplum! The navy and white is such a fresh combo for Spring, and the layers keep me warm on these unpredictable seasonal days.
I kept my accessories neutral (but still fun!) for a more classic style overall. Can you believe I found these pieces at World Market?

Military Jacket | Peplum Tee | Tassel Necklace | Hoop Earrings | Thumb Ring
This lightweight bag is a great neutral, but adds pattern and texture to an outfit. The wood handle is so chic, and it even comes with a suede strap to convert it to a shoulder or cross body bag.
Geometric Print Bag (also a cross body!) | Watch | Thumb Ring | Nail Polish in ‘Pink Agate’
Military Jacket | Peplum Tee | Ankle White Jeans | Tassel Necklace | Geometric Print Bag | Wedge Espadrilles
Such a simple combo, but so easy and perfect for Spring.
And just to prove how versatile (and necessary!) a military jacket is to your wardrobe, I rounded up 14 other ways I’ve styled mine lately! You’ll see in every instance, just adding the jacket ups the chic-factor of the entire outfit!

I could go on and on, but we’ll stop at 15…I think I’ve made a pretty solid case for military jackets, don’t you think? Do you have a favorite one in your closet? I think I could get through Spring (and Fall!) with just this jacket and my fave jean jacket. How about you?
Love how versatile the military jacket is – you’ve really worn it well in these outfits! I never paired the jacket with a girly peplum top before, but it’s such a good idea. The two pieces really balance each other out! 🙂

Such a great post. Great options.
The jacket’s high collar is perfect for windy/chilly weather.
I want one of each please!
A military jacket is an absolute necessity in every woman’s closet! I have SEVERAL, and I wear all of them! Great post!!!
Lucky me! It’s available near me in the two colors I’d like to try. And good to hear about the laundry ease. Hate it when I find just what I’m looking for and it’s dry clean only.
While I won’t be able to wear it for a couple months (broken arm), it will give me something to look forward to.
Oh Patricia….so sorry to hear about your arm!! I’m hope you’re on the mend soon! xo
Yes, I totally agree! I have the olive green jacket and I bought the camo version one day when it was on sale. It was too cute and too well-priced to pass up. I’m actually wearing my camo jacket at work today. 🙂 I don’t *need* the blush color, but boy is it a cutie!
If your blush jacket the bubblegum pink? it doesn’t look as pink on their site, so wasn’t sure!
Yes, that’s the same!! Might just be the lighting of the pic, but it’s def a blush pink in person!
All so cute!! I need the peplum tee!!
