Spring Fever

Thanks for the love on my Rainy Days style post! I knew y’all would be a sucker for the cheery jacket, too. We’ve actually had two sunny days in a row, so here’s hoping it’s here to stay for awhile. Because I’ve got Spring fever bad!

All the darling new arrivals aren’t helping my affliction either…these pieces have me pining for sunshine and longer days. Some of them are already new favorites!

1  //  Striped Graphic Tee  I never met a stripe I didn’t love, and Boden makes the best of the best when it comes to striped tees. The cotton is so soft, and the quality spot-on. I love the graphic touch to this one, and now that they’re carried at Nordstrom, we get free shipping!! I do size up one in this brand since it’s European sizing.

2  //  Lightwash Distressed Jean Jacket  I shared this jacket in last week’s DRD, and then wore it shopping with Mama Sugarplum the very next day (see it here). That’s when you know a piece is going to live a long happy life in your closet! This jean jacket has a great light wash and slim fit, with just enough distressing to look like you’ve owned it forever.

3  //  Abstract Pleated Dress  How gorgeous is the abstract print and mini pleats of this dress? It looks like it moves beautifully, too. Which we’ll know soon enough, because I already ordered for 40% off, thanks to the big Friends & Family sale!

4  //  Straw Market Tote  This oversized market tote is extra sturdy for carrying all your pool, beach and Summer things…and super chic with the leather handles and straw weave. It’s got a flat bottom, too, so no toppling over, and it’s on super sale! I’d attach this tassel to it!

5  //  Striped Neckerchief  I havne’t worn a neckerchief in years, but this striped cutie has me rethinking them! How cute with just a basic white tee and these statement earrings (use code FF25 for 25% off!)?

6  //  Tortoise Sunglasses  Tortoise is like leopard…it’s totally a neutral and goes with everything! Love the shape and size of these frames, and the tortoise so chic for work and weekend outfits.

7  //  Ruffle Trim Chino Jacket  You saw this one in last week’s DRD, too, and I just can’t stop thinking about it!! The go-with-everything color, the ruffles, the shrunken fit…I adore everything about it!

8  //  Striped Off-the-Shoulder Top  This sassy top combines sporty stripes and girlie off-the-shoulder ruffle for a fun combo. Plus, the straps keep it all in place. (More sizes found here.)

9  //  Heart Print Pajama Set  The blue, the piping, the heart print…it’s all so cute!! This pajama set is a lightweight, crisp cotton too, so they’re perfect for the warmer nights ahead.

10  //  Lip & Cheek Tint  I shared my simple makeup routine last week, but once Summer arrives, it gets even simpler! A little mascara and a swipe of this tint on my lips and cheeks is all it takes! Super moisturizing, too.

11  //  Lace Flutter Sleeve Top  This gorgeous top dresses up beautifully for work or even parties, but looks just as cute with cropped jeans and sandals. I’m a sucker for the flutter sleeves, too.

12  //  Embroidered Flat Sandals  I splurged on this style of sandal last year, and they have been the hands-down best shoe investment ever! I wore them with everything from dressy dresses to cut-off jean shorts. This new embroidered style is really tempting me…love the colors and the neutral cognac! (I size up half.)

13  //  Striped Cross Slides  Not quite as neutral, but just as fun, are these striped slide sandals! I’m obsessed with all the colors and styling options! (See my first combo here!)

14  //  Embroidered Jewel Clutch  I’m so drawn to this bold clutch, so clearing my yellow kick continues! It’s just so bright and cheery, and the accent of cobalt blue so striking. It’s incredibly well-made with chunky embroidery and sold jewels…there’s even a little chain if you prefer to carry it hands-free.

15  //  Neutral Wedge Espadrille  You’ve seen these wedge a few times already, I have a feeling they’ll be my heel of choice this season. Super comfy, great height, and the perfect neutral (leg-lengthening!) color.

16  //  Striped Tie-Back Jumpsuit  This jumpsuit had me at stripes, then stole my heart with the bow. I love a halter-style neckline too, it’s always a flattering fit. Plus, I’m addicted to all things blue and white for Spring.

17  //  Beaded Drop Earrings  Add a punch to every outfit with these fun, statement makers. And as luck would have it, the entire site of amazing jewels is 25% off!

18  //  Twill Utility Jacket  This jacket has been in heavy rotation for weeks now, but my collection of colors keeps expanding!! I just grabbed this fresh blush and love it for Spring. (See it styled here.)

Would you consider the striped slides narrow/med/med wide or wide… love them, but nervous about width

My foot is more wide than narrow, and they fit me great! The woven material gives a little, too.

OMG! I first saw your post on my phone and thought #3, dress, was an origami cat or dog. I checked the description and scrolled back up to see what it looked like 🙂

I’ve been thinking about wearing a neckerchief as well. I think I will!

Great post! So ready for warmer weather! What color do you use in the Sugar lip treatment?
I love the striped neckerchief. Such a great way to elevate a tee. I bought a J Crew one with berries on it last summer and it was my favorite accessory.

Oh no!!! Have they broken in yet? I sized down half and mine are a snug fit. The first time I could feel them rub in a few places (like any new shoe), but after that they were as comfy as slippers!

I’ll take one of each! I especially love the Boden top and didn’t realize Nordstrom carried women’s sizing in that brand now! Dangerous!
