Happy Wednesday, friends! We’re halfway through the week, and I just realized it’s a holiday weekend ahead! Little Miss has her first volleyball tournament of the season, and we’re so excited to see her play with her new team. My butt doesn’t necessarily agree, considering how long we sit, but I’ve decided to walk laps between games this year.
I mean, I live in leggings and pullovers on volleyball weekends anyway, so might as well make the most of it, right? No surprise I’m usually in Patagonia, they’re some of my favorite pullovers and jackets… not just for the effortless style, but the incredible quality and legit warmth they provide.
If you’ve followed me for a winter season, then you’ve seen this brand on repeat around here. Patagonia goes with me to the Grand Canyon and Big Bend, on ski trips, Alaskan cruises, and even just around town.
My go-to brand even dominated my Gift Guide for Outdoor Enthusiasts last month, not to mention Mr. SP’s top picks HERE! We both have styles we still wear on repeat that we’ve owned for 5 to 10 years… so they launder well and last forever! They recently launched some new styles, so today I’m sharing those and a few of my old favorites.

Synchilla Lightweight Snap-T Fleece Pullover |Â Retro Pile Hooded Jacket | Pom Beanie | Retro Pile Marsupial Pullover
Los Gatos Quarter-Zip Pullover | Pom Beanie | Re-Tool Snap Fleece Pullover | Re-Tool Half Zip Pullover
Patagonia Retro Pile Hooded Jacket //
The Retro Pile fabric is warm and soft, with a bit of a nubby texture. I love the relaxed fit of this jacket, so easy to throw on after a workout, for carpool, and super cute with jeans or leggings. Â It has spandex trim at the hem and sleeves to keep the cold out, plus a collared hood for more coverage around the neck.
I love the zippered pockets for stashing my phone or keys on a walk.
Fit Tip: To wear as an outer layer, definitely size up. I prefer it pretty loose for wearing zipped or open and sized up to a medium.

A new style, and quickly one of my faves! Made of the softest double-sided shearling fleece, it’s cozy and warm inside and out. The extra-long zip makes it easy to pull on and off, and the spandex hem and sleeves keep cold out. And just like the retro jacket, it has zippered pockets for keeping things secure.
Fit Tip: I size up one to a small

Patagonia Los Gatos Quarter-Zip Pullover //
An old stand-by, the Los Gatos Quarter Zip Pullover is made of high-pile fleece for a plush and cozy fit. Soft enough for lounging around the house, but warm for serious outdoor wear.
It has a tall collar and quarter zip, with an open hem for a relaxed fit around the hips. It doesn’t have pockets, but comes in the best colors! It has the fullest pile of the Patagonia pullovers, so has a ‘fluffier’ fit.
Fit Tip: Definitely size up one in this style, preferably two for the comfiest oversized fit. I’m wearing a medium.

Patagonia Re-Tool Snap Fleece Pullover //
My most worn style, and the pullover that started my obsession, the Re-Tool Snap-T Fleece Pullover is a Patagonia classic. It’s made of warm Polartec performance fleece, that’s super soft and warm, but not bulky or overly heavy. It has a kangaroo pouch for holding essentials and keeping hands warm.
I love the tall collar and open hem for a looser fit around the bum. It comes in tons of colors, and I’m always grabbing another when they go on sale!
Fit Tip: I size up in all Patagonia for easier layering, I’m wearing a small.
Patagonia Re-Tool Half Zip Pullover //
Similar in feel and fit to the Re-Tool Snap-T Fleece Pullover, this brand new style has a zippered collar and front pocket. It’s unbelievably soft and so warm. These pullovers make great layers for outdoor winter activities like hiking and skiing!
Fit Tip: I’m wearing a small

Clearly my Patagonia passion runs strong! I’ve had many of these pieces for years, so you can see how well they hold up to regular washing and constant wearing (Patagonia even backs their products with a lifetime warranty!!)! It goes without saying that Backcountry is my go-to source for all things Patagonia (and outdoor in general)!
They have the very best prices, and the customer service and shipping can’t be beat. Before every big adventure, my first call is always to their Gearheads… experts in the field that offer free advice on the essential gear for a safe and comfortable experience.
My family adores all things Patagonia, as well, with the Re-Tool Snap-T Fleece Pullover a Little Miss fave, and the Los Gatos Hoodie at the top of Mr. College’s list. The Nano Puff Vest is probably the most worn item in Mr. SP’s entire closet!
And yep… we found them all at Backcountry! You can’t beat free two-day shipping, and as always, you can save 15% off your first Backcountry.com order with code SUGARPLUM15 (exclusions apply).
Are you a Patagonia fan, too? Which styles are your favorites?
I love all of the Patagonia jackets and pull overs, how do you pick just one!
I really like the color of the Retro Pile Hooded Jacket but I also love the Re-Tool Snap Fleece Pullover.
You can’t go wrong with any of them, Gina!!! I do love the light blue on the Retro Pile Jacket though! xo, C
